23.01.2022 ETA UPDATE ON CONVID-19 VIRUS ** coaching classes and in house comps will continue to run ** With the current news around Coronavirus we felt it essential to let you know ETAs current position regarding activities at our tennis venues.... Whilst Tennis Victoria today announced that all their tournaments will be postponed until further notice, we understand some people have questions as to what actually is still operating at our venues. At this stage all coaching classes and internal competitions will continue as normal; which aligns with the Federal Governments recent updated national policy of recommending against gatherings of more than 500 people - which does not occur at ETA venues. The government has assured the nation that these measures are purely precautionary to get ahead of COVID-19 and should not induce panic. Hence, we ask that all members of our community can similarly apply caution yet common sense when reacting to these measures. What we also recommend our patrons and friends coming to the our venues read the posters within the club houses about hygiene etc. We also ask that any person who may have flu like symptoms please not to come to the courts and seek medical advice. As the situation around Covid-19 is very dynamic and changing daily, we will continue to review our decision and update accordingly.
