08.01.2022 October is National Safe Work Month. We focus on safety at Elite not just in October but every day of every month. Container unloading comes with plenty of risk therefore we must always be mindful to be as safe as possible and make sure every member of our team goes home safely to their family, every day. Recently we have focused our attention to loading export containers. There was a new CTU - Quick Guide and Checklist released on the 14th September and we have been busy mak...ing sure we are across it. We have been on site watching our teams and ensuring that the loaded cargo will arrive at it's destination just as it was packed with as little movement as possible, reducing the risk of injuries and damages at the other end. We have been discussing with our clients various forms of load restraints that we can implement. It's not only about safety but pride in our work that makes us strive ahead!
