24.01.2022 Elixer of Beauty will be re-opening next week and we want to assure you of our continued commitment to client safety and hygiene. We care about the health of our clients and government guidelines and want to try and do our bit. Your safety and hygiene are our highest priority so a few changes have been put into place. - Please arrive to your appointment 5 minutes early.... - Please use sanitiser on arrival to the salon or make your way to our bathroom and wash your hands. - We will be conducting temperature checks as you enter the salon, please be respectful of our decision to do so. - A pre screen questionnaire must be filled out and you must register and update your details on arrival. - No additional guests or children to come with you to your appointment, please come alone. - If you have flu like symptoms or feel unwell please reschedule your appointment. - If our waiting area has multiple people in it, we kindly ask that you wait outside. - Please also maintain social distancing of 1.5m Thank you all for your understanding.. A friendly reminder of our guidelines for entry to the salon - Please use the hand sanitiser on arrival.... Please arrive on time (not early or late) to avoid too many people in the waiting area. 16.01.2022 We are currently closed for treatments As much as we miss you all Beauty & Nail Salons are currently closed for all treatments. The federal and state governments have made it very clear that we must not provide services under any circumstances. They however have allowed us to open to sell products and gift vouchers only. We will post to let you know when this will happen.... It is also very unclear around licensed trading home services-salons and mobile business. Elixer of Beauty is not a home based business we are a commercial shop front and the NSW government is constantly changing the rules and have now removed this from the website. I have had several messages today asking me if we are able to do treatments and Im so thankful for the support as always but please understand I am very passionate about my work and have always upheld the highest standards of hygiene and infection control. To be taking appointments at the moment would go against all of this. Not to mention that the fine is up to $11000. I value your support and friendship at this time and we will be more than happy to see you when its safe to do so. Hopefully it wont be to much longer and we will see all of your smiling faces again believe me we want this as much as you all do Im always here to chat and will support you always. 05.01.2022 Today we have new beginnings in salon - flying our butterfly wings for the first time in 10 weeks. Just when the caterpillar thought her life was over she began to fly This is Elixer and she is ready to see all of your smiling faces over the coming days and weeks. We are really excited to be back and Im feeling so grateful and blessed that we have full bookings but just want to let you all know that we are also extremely anxious about going into a fully booked week. Its ...been really emotional so please bare with us as we navigate through. I want to thank each and every one of you for the support you have shown Elixer in the past 10 weeks. It honestly got us through I send lots of positive vibes to all of my fellow therapists too! The day has come that we can do what we love to do.. 03.01.2022 Im so happy and relieved that we have come out the other side and we are able to open Elixers doors on the 2nd of June 2020 at 9am. Its been a journey of mixed emotions and I thank those of you who have been kind, compassionate, supportive and so caring during this time! Im extremely grateful for all of you We have had to make a few small time price changes on some treatments to help adhere to all the government regulations and to help ensure the salon is extremely hyg...ienic, clean, safe and to allow us to continue to provide you with a high level of customer service we are known for. More info around this will be available as the weeks unfold. As you can imagine we have a number of bookings to make and would ask that you please be super patient and bare with us. Anyone who was booked late March to early April will be given first priority and also anyone on our wait list will be contacted too. The salon will be open this morning between 8:30am and 11am and Friday 9am to 12pm to finalise bookings or if you need to purchase retail products or gift vouchers.
