24.01.2022 A last reminder for Presentation tickets available from the club between 4pm and 6pm tomorrow. Numbers have to be given to caterers next week. No reservations, no tickets on the door. This is a Covid compliant function. Make sure you don't miss out on the night of nights - there is alot to celebrate!

15.01.2022 Regrettably due to work and other commitments senior coach Mark Kelly has decided to step down from the post for the 2021 season. The club thanks Mark for all his efforts this season and wishes him all the very best for the future. As such the club invites expressions of interest in the role to be submitted to [email protected] detailing experiences and thought on how they would approach and execute the role. Previous applicants are encouraged to apply and all expressions will be treated in the strictest confidence.

The Elizabeth Downs Soccer Club (The Downs) was established in 1962 and has a proud and rich history of success within the South Australian Amateur Soccer League (SAASL). In this contract position, coaching licenses are preferred, and Ideal candidates may possess the following qualities: More than two years of experience and evidence of success coaching Men's/Women’s football at Amateur or Federation level. Willing to drive club culture, standards and attend social events. Coaches are to be passionate towards development and improvement of all grades. All coaches must be reliable, punctual, and strong communicators. The Job involves two training nights per week and a match day. All coaching Equipment and uniforms are provided by the club. Contract Type: Season contract Remuneration: Negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Experience: 2+ years’ experience in Men's/Women’s football coaching at Amateur level or higher is preferred. 03.01.2022 Following on from yesterday's announcement that Modbury SC has forfeited their game against the As on Sunday we have also been advised that Plympton Bulldogs have been forced to forfeit the reserves game so that they can, in line with competition rules, field an A side. There is still live football at Argana Park on Sunday with the big Cs v Ds derby!
