It is through shadow and darkness that you come into the light. It is through storm that you come into the sunshine. It is through difficulty that you come to attain. It is through conflict that you reach peace. Life can be achieved only through conflict that you reach peace. Life can be achieved only through comparisons. Were your paths one even monotone, there would be no unfoldment. The development comes through the clash of varying circumstances which mould and mature the latent spirit.

21.01.2022 The self that you know is but a small, even tiny, percentage of your total personality. It is necessary to be so focused in order to most benefit by your physical life. Upon death, however, each of you has a very noticeable broadening of your faculties. It can be compared to suddenly being clairvoyant and telepathic, being able to read other people's thoughts easily. This is actually the case once you are freed of the earthly body. You can, indeed, read the thoughts of those around you. This is done without relying on language at all. Thoughts are transmitted in a wordless yet universally recognised language of the mind. 21.01.2022 The spiritual concept of brotherhood, as apposed to the materialist conception, lays emphases on the spiritual as the primary aspect of life. The key to progress and happiness of man and society lies in the unfoldment of spirit. Spiritual progress is directed by love and wisdom and expressed in good deeds. As man thinks so is he. Spiritualists are convinced that the future of the human race depends chiefly upon acceptance of the truth of immortality of the human spirit. The ...reason for this is the fact that unless the brotherhood of man is built upon a spiritual foundation it cannot have a lasting influence on the future welfare of the race. Man's spirit survives the change called death whereas his material possessions are beyond his reach when this great and significant event in life takes place. If man realised this, his whole outlook on life would change and he would see the folly and stupidity of the lust for material wealth. This is the cause of all theft, exploitation, brutality and war, and he would strive only after those things which were beneficial and progressive in regard to his spiritual welfare. 17.01.2022 Sunday 12th July, our prayers continue to go out for our Planet and all who live upon it. No matter who we are, we are facing challenging times. Trying to understand ourselves is not easy at times, trying to understand all that is happening in the world at the moment, can be mind blowing. I would like to share with you something I read this morning.... Love, respect and understanding are indivisible. True Brotherhood will be built on these three aspects of human life because they form the foundation of a peaceful and compassionate existence which when applied universally, will cure many of the ills that plague the world today. The diversity and excitement of life will remain, but it is our reaction to the challenge of living that will determine our worth as spiritual and physical beings. The beneficiaries of our success will be future generations who will understand the truth of Brotherhood and inherit a world of which we, and they, can be proud. Amen

To get the most out of life we should live as best we can in accordance with spiritual law, accepting responsibility for our actions and the consequences that follow. Behaviour in the physical life cannot be divorced from the spiritual legacy because we are the interdependant. We are indeed responsible for our actions and must understand that statement has far wider implications than we at first realis. Our mind can be a very powerful force. If we feel negative towards someone, they then respond in the same way to us. Not consciously of course, and that which you have released from your mind will immediately be returned to you.... So it is with this understanding we must always, at all times be conscious of creating the right environment, not only for ourselves but for every other thing we share this planet with. Laughter creates a wonderful, happy, positive energy. Body language creates, eye contact creates. How we move through this world creates. If we are like a tornado going through a room then we will feel disturbance where once there was harmony and balance.

01.01.2022 In her book 'Mediums and their Work' Linda Williamson says. The image of the medium is changing. Even twenty years ago, when I first became interested in the subject, most people thought of mediums as little old ladies sitting in darkened rooms calling up the dead. Today, this is no longer the case. True, the Madam Arcati caricature still lingers in certain quarters, but mediums are becoming recognised and respected by an increasingly large sector of the public. This change in attitude is due in part to the general upsurge of interest in the psychic, but much of the credit must go to the late Doris Stokes. She did more than anyone in recent years to dispel the obscurity surrounding the subject, and to present contact with the Beyond as something as easy and natural as talking to a friend by long distance telephone.
