24.01.2022 Thank you to the Council of ACT Motor Clubs and Copland College for their partnership to undertake the restoration of the Canberra Pie Cart. This pie cart was operative between the 1930s and 1970s bringing pies to offices and other places. At that time Canberra was a dusty paddock with few buildings, apart from Parliament House , Albert Hall, the two Sydney and Melbourne Civic buildings, some government offices, hostels and a few houses. ... Look at the incredible work of its restoration!

18.01.2022 I tabled a petition today of almost 800 signatures, asking for the urgent development of Kippax. What is really going on behind the delay? Why have a direct sale, cancel it and then have an open tender? If the successful developer does not own Kippax fair- how will they comply with the master plan when it includes Kippax fair? Will there be two shopping centres?? Many questions and government has a lot to answer.
18.01.2022 In life you just meet those people who are memorable. Today while doorknocking, I did. Maria came to Australia from Greece when she was almost 17. Didn’t know the culture or the language. She worked hard. Eventually bought a small take away shop. Married and bought more shops. 14 of them. Her and husband bought them, renovated and sold them after several years. Maria has a fantastic sense of humour, so active and enthusiastic. I loved being in her company. Such a delight!! She’s showing me her olives.
13.01.2022 On this human rights day - I am reminded of our children in child protection. Labor and Green government as well as their MLAs have let down our children. I honestly don’t know why they return to hurt our children again and again.
07.01.2022 A beautiful place to welcome this Easter morning! The beauty of having teens; not waking up early for easter egg hunt allows some alone time to ponder and journal this sacred day. Though I’m imperfect, raw and broken. Because of Him, I’m healed. Happy Easter everyone!

05.01.2022 Do you want Christmas Day excitement with the kids to last throughout the day? When my kids were little I would give them 3 gifts each. One to be opened at breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was so great. I am reminded to do it again this year. First time in 14 years I will not get to see my extended family throughout the day. So adding this tradition this year may help with the sting of not seeing them. #ChristmasDayAllDay
