05.01.2022 By taking a mindful approach to healing from trauma not only do we avoid retraumtisation, but we allow the brain to reconcile the trauma. This allows for the trauma to be stored correctly in the brain as a memory of something that once happened, not a painful experience that we continue to feel and experience over and over as if it were a current event.
