13.01.2022 Someday I'm gonna get this instagram to facebook link working lmao Putting the finishing touches on this piece I started last last year, inspired by the song 'run' by a Swedish group 'iamthekidyouknowwhatimean' (one word) , a layered electronic song that takes a minute to appreciate but is Amazeballs. I'm loving using music as the inspiration for my work at the moment , I always used to work from photos and this exactly the same thing, it gives me freedom but a source to come back to should I need it.

01.01.2022 Long time between posts. After a holiday, mid semester break and life pouring on piles of shit I'm back into it. Working title "You had so many sides and all of them sucked" #instaart #instaartist #painting #femaleartist #gesturalpainting #gesturalabstraction #abstractart #abstractart #abstract #abstractpainting #abstractartist #contemporaryart #contemporaryartist #kunst #australianart #australianartist

01.01.2022 I just had the amazing pleasure of attending this highly emotional forum today, if anyone has the opportunity to attend the art centre and view the exhibit please do so, whatever your views of Myuran Sukumara it cannot be denied that they are powerful works that invoke discussion. I took so much from today's forum that I think it may take me days to process. But one piece that stays with me was a discussion on how empathy and compassion are now seen as weakness rather than as they really are, our strongest emotions. As someone that regularly gets accused of being a 'bleeding heart' rather than a human being of empathy I can relate
