25.01.2022 Want to know what there is to know about COVID and pregnancy in WA? Here is a link to the Department of Health current guidelines. https://healthywa.wa.gov.au//Cor/COVID19-in-pregnancy.pdf

22.01.2022 There is no health without mental health To all you mums, mums to be, and those who love them - check in with each other and look after each other. If you are not ok - reach out - ask for what you need.

22.01.2022 How pleased are we to have Ralph Brewer from Exactus Homes getting started on our reno? We are in such good hands!

21.01.2022 Thanks to the Radiance Team in Busselton for their invitation to join the 2021 Conference on Perinatal and Infant Mental Health. It was lovely to meet so many new people and also to catch up with the wonderful Becky Mildenhall, a valued member of our EC team for many years, who has made the made the move to the SW.

19.01.2022 Thanks to our lovely staff at the Elizabeth Clinic - we are now the proud adopted parents of a koala recovering from the bushfires!

19.01.2022 At the Elizabeth Clinic we are super pleased to announce that we have a fantastic senior Child and Adolescent Psychiatry registrar joining our team. This means we can see more families. If you are not sure how this might help your family, here is a great summary article from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.

17.01.2022 The Elizabeth Clinic family has outgrown it's home - so we will be moving house. But not just yet....we will keep you posted!

17.01.2022 Thanks to Ralph Brewer from Exactus Homes and his team for racing along with the renovation of our new building in Nedlands. And thanks to the clinic mascot, Maisie for helping us work out where to put our power points. So helpful! All looking good for a move in mid to late October.

13.01.2022 The Elizabeth Clinic is looking for passionate PIMH clinicians to work alongside a GP led obstetric service in Joondalup, Midland and Murdoch. All our clinicians are well supported and have access to supervision and professional development opportunities. Get in touch - [email protected].

13.01.2022 This has been sent to us from one of our very, very courageous patients, who has tamed the monster. Perinatal OCD or any OCD can be treated. Don't suffer in silence.

12.01.2022 The power of song, connection and belonging.....

10.01.2022 It was an exciting day for the EC team. Congratulations to our lovely receptionist Emilia on the arrival of Alexander. And congratulations to Viv for scoring the first cuddle!

10.01.2022 We are open for business. If you are a new patient to our clinic or someone who needs to see the clinician face to face - the clinic is safe for you to visit. Please bring a mask. For those who we have met before, we are equipped for telehealth - so please don't feel you need to cancel your appointments. Please call us or send an email with your preference. We are happy to work with you on a solution that feels most comfortable for you.

08.01.2022 Think about those times in your life when you were about to do something new....new job, ride the Giant Drop at Dreamworld, have a baby....were you 'ready'? We seem to think these days that if we prepare enough, read enough, buy enough then we will be 'ready'. Is it even possible to be ready? What should we be trying to teach our children? Shall we be trying to show them that sometimes surprising/disappointing/frightening things are going to happen and it is ok and they ...will be ok? Maybe, they don't need to be 'ready' to do it all - they just need to be ready to be curious, ready to accept help from others and be ready to just go on a journey.

07.01.2022 We talk a lot about maternal instinct but guess what? Paternal instinct is real and is hard wired. Best of all it lasts!

07.01.2022 Postpartum Psychosis is a rare but devastating experience for women and their families. Unfortunately, we don't have a lot of research data. So for those women out there who have been through this, please consider contacting this research group. They produce some of the best information in the world for Perinatal and Infant Mental Health. It will certainly help us clinicians and hopefully our patients and their families.

06.01.2022 We have moved house - well almost.....There are still some finishing touches to go, but we are now officially at 26 Leura Street Nedlands. Many thanks to the ever patient Ralph Brewer from Exactus Homes. 14 weeks from start to finish is pretty amazing!!!!

05.01.2022 So pleased to be involved with the fantastic group in the South West. Looking forward to contributing to what should be an excellent day.
