21.01.2022 Hey all, Due to the latest Covid 19 restrictions, the committee have made the decision to call it a year. The Aquadome is shutting down for at least the next 2 weeks. There will be no more lessons this year. We will restart (if possible) term 1 next year. Our commitment to the safety of our members remains our first priority.... I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the instructors and the parents that have helped out for their commitment and efforts this year. It has been an unusual year with stopping and starting our lessons. Thankyou very much guys and girls. Merry christmas and a safe new year to all. See you in the new year. Paul Club President

19.01.2022 Good afternoon all, I hope you have all recieved an email from the club regarding our closure due to the Covid-19 (Corana virus) crisis. After getting responses from a majority of the committee, it is our decision to suspend all club activities until the 31st of May. That means no lessons, courses or face to face meetings during this time period.... This suspension is affective immediately. I do not wish to unknowingly put anyone at greater risk then we already are. The situation is constantly changing and is slowly getting worse. We are getting regular updates from Surf Life Saving SA and are following simular guidelines implemented by them. The committee will stay in contact and keep club members updated on any changes. This could go longer but we will see how it goes. Remember to stay safe and hygienic throughout this crisis. The best thing to do is to follow the recommendations given out by the health department. Regards Paul Clapp President Elizabeth Life Saving Club

06.01.2022 The Elizabeth life saving club is looking for people that would like to become swim instructors to teach water safety at the Elizabeth Aquadome on a Sunday morning 9:00am to 10:30am. All volunteers. To become an instructor from the ages of 15years old.

06.01.2022 Good morning all, We are running swimming this morning with 3 instructors, 4 assistants and 16 students. Good to see people out and about today. I have spoken with Blue Fit this morning and they are running as per normal but are keeping people educated on hygiene and not coming if they are feeling ill in anyway. They are also monitoring the situatuon and keeping upto date any changes from Bluefit management and the Goverment.... I have spoken with the instructors present and they are happy to keep things normal until the end of the term. We have 3 weeks left. I have made the decision to keep lessons going until the end of the term. I'll remind people to keep up their hygiene and follow all the recommendations provided by the Health organisations. If you are feeling unwell please stay at home and rest up. The new flu season is upon us as well. We as the committee are being kept upto date and well informed from Surf Life Saving management. If anything changes or new rules on containment are released we will let everyone know asap. So in closing lessons are still running as normal to the end of the term at this stage. Please come out and enjoy a swim. If you have any concerns or questions please don't hesitate to email me at [email protected] Stay safe and well. Paul Clapp President Elizabeth Life Saving Club
