21.01.2022 Happy Early Childhood Educators day! Thank you to our wonderful families for supporting us and our fabulous children for making our days so enjoyable! A very big thank you for our lovely pictures and notes left on our wall...it made our day!

21.01.2022 We asked Hunter Page-Lochard, Miranda Tapsell and Luke Carroll to tell us what they are most excited about teaching your little ones in our special Play School Acknowledgment of Country show at 9am today.

18.01.2022 Here is another fabulous page. Lycie is a former teacher from Elizabeth Park and has set up this fabulous page to support families engaging in simple play experiences with their children at home. This page is one of my all time favourites and one I use regularly to get ideas from!!

17.01.2022 Dear families, This Facebook group has some great ideas to do with children at home as well as links to online resources. Although preschool is still open and continuing to operate as normal, we are aware that some families are choosing to keep their children home at this time.... We will send play ideas or learning resources to use at home through Facebook and kindyhub to support all of our preschool community in this uncertain time

11.01.2022 A reminder to families that there are no preschool sessions tomorrow. We invite the children and their families to attend between 5-7pm for their farewell graduation and art show celebration. Families are to bring their own picnic dinner to eat together. Hope to see you all there .

09.01.2022 Let's kick off NAIDOC week in style. Check out this banger Hickory Dickory Dock by Baker Boy.

07.01.2022 We have loved our community excursions. Miss Stacey and Miss Louise loaded up some children on the school bus and they went on quite the adventure. The 1st stop was to the local retirement home to visit our elderly friends. The 2nd stop was a detour to the mechanics when the bus started to make a clicking sound. Finally the 3rd stop was to the local coffee shop so the children could bring back and deliver coffees to the Educators. The children thought this was very special. W...e also welcomed Miss L’s Dad (and his friends) from the CFS. They stayed for almost the whole day. It gave each child an opportunity to get up in the truck, spray the hose and learn about their role in the community. We have really started to observe Authors at work now and have many children writing their own stories at the bookmaking table. Please see your child’s pigeon holes for a parent/caregiver brochure on bookmaking. See more

06.01.2022 Tomorrow is the start of a new, exciting, scary and wondrous adventure for many of our preschoolers! Our Educators are very much looking forward to sharing this experience with our families. AM session is 8:30am - 11:30am PM session is 12:15pm - 3:15pm... Please remember to pack a healthy snack and change of clothes for your child. (There will be water play this week to help us keep cool) As the weather will be warmer please pack an ice pack with your child's snack if it needs it or let an educator know if it needs to go in the fridge. See you all tomorrow

04.01.2022 NAIDOC Week is a celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and a chance to acknowledge history, culture and achievements. In week 10 preschool children had the opportunity to join in with NAIDOC activities. We read dreaming stories, visited the Aboriginal Memorial Garden and attended the whole school Aboriginal performance. It was a busy week getting ready for the holidays. We had a graduation for Miss S who is off to school next term. We also had Pyjama Day on Friday. Thankyou to all the families who donated cans of food for our local community members who are in need. Happy Birthday to Miss Sam M who had a birthday during the week. Enjoy your holiday. Stay safe. Preschool Educators.

01.01.2022 Dear families, if any of your children are still dressed up as pirates and you feel like doing something crazy like taking your children to a shopping centre pop down to Krispy Kreme at Elizabeth shopping centre tonight. Being dressed up as a Pirate for international talk like a Pirate day means you get 12 FREE glazed iced donuts!!! Yum!!

01.01.2022 Thank you to all of our amazing families and friends who joined us tonight for our graduation/art show/celebration! It was an amazing, relaxed evening and we hope your children are as exhausted as we are and all sleep well for you tonight! We hoped you enjoyed seeing their artwork on display! If you did not collect it please remember to do so tomorrow. Thank you once again for a fabulous year! Thank you for allowing us to care for your children and for always being approach...able and supportive. We are very lucky to have you all as part of our preschool family and once again wish our little ones going off to school next year all the best! Just a reminder that tomorrow is wheels day and we invite the children to bring their bikes or scooters to preschool. It is also an early finish for both groups. AM children: 10.30am finish PM children: 2:00pm finish. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow for one last hoorah before the end of the preschool year!
