25.01.2022 Looking forward to a gig tomorrow night at my hometown pub 6:30pm-8:30pm at Hotel Victory!

24.01.2022 Excited to join Campbelltown Church of Christ online this morning! You're invited to tune in :)

23.01.2022 Looking forward to my first winery gig in Queensland tonight! At the beautiful Rosalie House Cellar Door Restaurant missing my South Coast venues! How good is my husband/roadie/sound guy

19.01.2022 When you’re sitting next to two guys on a plane and they start singing (beautifully!) mid-flight in Arabic, you know you have something in common! It was so nice to meet Wafik salloum singer, a talented musician from Lebanon on his way to a sold-out show in Brisbane. Such a fun conversation, with some translation by the wonderful Hassan (on the left) who is a multi-instrumentalist. I love meeting musicians from other parts of the world.

18.01.2022 I had so much fun being a part of this! A beautiful initiative, well done Pub Choir <3

17.01.2022 We didn’t see Evelyn for the morning’s first hour. As the sun rose and it’s golden rays reached slowly for our rooftop, a little girl padded across the hall in soft boots to the veranda where a tiny form slept. And her name is... Piper. Welcome home, sweet girl! #bordercollie #kelpie #Piper #firstday

17.01.2022 I’m honoured to share with you a new song, never before played live and yet to be recorded, called ‘The Room’. I was asked to lead worship at a retreat a couple of years ago. I said yes. In the months leading up to the retreat, my faith grew cold. I drew away from God. Some painful life lessons (where I now see His hand at work) led me to feel deeply unworthy of being His. Against all my instincts I followed through with my commitment and went to the retreat, feeling utterly... undeserving and underprepared for my role. How could I lead a group of women to worship the Lord when I myself had shrunk back? I thought I had nothing to offer and resolved to just do ‘my’ best. From the very first session the Holy Spirit filled the little seaside chapel where we gathered. I was in awe of how I’d gone from feeling a world away from God to being right there in His presence. I was struck by how I encountered His love, grace, mercy and joy just by coming to be with Him and worship. No grovelling or tiptoeing required. No awkward apologies or fumbling excuses (He knows us inside-out, anyway). But invited infact, beckoned to come and rediscover what my heart had forgotten: He makes me come alive. I extend this invitation to you, friend, with a song I wrote that very weekend in the seaside chapel at the retreat. It’s raw and it’s real and honestly, when I chose to sing it for this beautiful TV show a few months ago, it was about as vulnerable as I’ve ever felt about a song. I want you to know, friend, that if you haven’t experienced the open arms of God: He beckons. If you have experienced His arms and you’ve walked away, unsure of how you could ever be welcomed back: He beckons. The door to the throne room is open to all, no matter what your story is, through Jesus. ‘The Room’ will be played on Channel Nine at 5:30am tomorrow (Sunday) morning. Thank you as always to the incredible Craig Gower for his musical direction and wisdom, to the greatest house band, to Richard and the production team for always doing an excellent job - and to the whole team at Wesley Mission who do what they do so beautifully. https://youtu.be/oetzuj_Rg38

10.01.2022 Such a joy to sing this song with my good friend Jordan for Wesley Impact TV on Channel Nine. Hope it’s a blessing to you today as we reflect on how much Jesus sees in us, loves us and gave for us.

07.01.2022 SO much fun being part of another Couch Choir video! Can you spot me? The kids were in the sandpit so I quickly recorded a part! Keep an eye out for the next one and sing along with us from home :) thank you Pub Choir for the beautiful things you're doing x

07.01.2022 2000 years ago, one man lived a perfect life and died an unjust death so that all of us, in our imperfection, could have a beautiful, life-giving, necessary relationship with God! Thank You Jesus! How are you spending your Easter Sunday? Ours has been watching church online, delivering eggs around our neighbourhood and chalk writing on the footpath

06.01.2022 This morning I woke early and walked around our little town. The fresh air and delicate first sunlight was comforting after a night wondering what the future will hold for all of us. As I walked, it was impossible not to notice how much has shifted because of this virus - the few people I passed by lowered their eyes, careful not to make conversation, aware of the danger our interaction might present to us and to our community. Sickness stealing from our sense of togetherness.... I listened to a podcast by John and Lisa Bevere and felt my focus being shifted to God's Word as they spoke on Psalm 91: "This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God, and I trust him." It's just SO good and too long for me to fully post here but please, check out Psalm 91 - only God could inspire a songwriter to pen words thousands of years ago that would one day speak directly to the tension of the world today, and to the heart of a young mama walking her streets in 2020. Love you all - more to share soon. x E. (you can listen to the podcast I mentioned here: https://podcasts.apple.com//special-episode-h/id218453800)

06.01.2022 At many of the Christmas events I had the opportunity to be a part of, I sang this incredible song by Sovereign Grace Music. It's such a meaningful twist on one of my favourite carols. My Dad-in-law, Barry Scott, filmed this at our local community Christmas night. Hope it speaks to your heart in a powerful way like it has to mine. x E

04.01.2022 It’s finally cold enough for me to get out my favourite jumpers and knitted headbands I don’t know about you but I love winter clothes! 04.01.2022 Looking forward to this night!

01.01.2022 Yesterday I had the privilege of singing at a truly glorious and stunning venue, Gabbinbar Homestead. It was a beautiful wedding and such a treat to sing beneath the huge magnolia tree, then to play the grand in the conservatory. Congratulations to the truly lovely bride, Victoria and her groom, Josh and thank you to the incredible staff for their flawless hospitality and attention to detail. It’s so good to be playing live music again! x E

01.01.2022 ‘Christ be with me. Within me Behind me Before me Beside me.... To comfort To win me And to restore me. Christ beneath me In quiet Above me In danger In hearts of all that love me In mouth of friend and stranger.’ St Patrick’s Breastplate
