24.01.2022 You know that feeling when you’re underwater , you’ve lost your equilibrium, you feel you’re drowning , your lungs are bursting, there’s no focus. Then you reach the surface and take that giant gulp of air. You rub the salt out of your eyes and notice things that have always been there but in a different light... colours are more vibrant, faces have smiles, the birds are singing. Well walking into Eliza’s today felt like that for me. I fell out of love with my baby... I ign...ored her , pretended that she wasn’t there when she was simply in a cocoon. Now she’s like a butterfly emerging from COVID . I never fell out of love, I just allowed myself to wait it out and cleanse my mind from all the stresses we have been feeling for the past 8 months.
