16.01.2022 Blame. We are taught from an early age to blame others/things when we get hurt,when something doesn't go our way. I am victim of teaching this to my children and Wow the other night to my grandson! He was crawling under the table, and stood up too early and hit his head and cryed. What does Oma do she distracts him and says Naughty table and smacks table! He of course stops crying, it was then that Christopher says why are you blaming the table? Wow wake up call, it is then t...hat I realised We the Grandparents,parents etc already start teaching our kids not to take responsibility for their actions,instead blame something/soneone else!!! I know it's going to be difficult when my little Harvey hurts himself but I am really going to do my best not to blame an object when he hurts himself, i know it won't be as cute, it is the small actions that make the biggest impact in our childrens lives and then to them as adults. . I know my kids will laugh when they read this yeh sure Oma lets Harvey cry I know it's not going to be easy but I also see the bigger picture, that will empower him.
