21.01.2022 It’s with the heaviest of hearts that I must make the decision to temporarily close my salon as of today regarding the health pandemic we are facing of covid-19 as a Nation. I am absolutely heartbroken that this has to happen as you all know I hate letting anyone down especially our beautiful clients who have been extremely supportive understanding and kind to both myself and my staff. Starting a business off from scratch has been one of the most challenging but the most rew...arding adventure’s I have been able to achieve and believe me this is not the last of Elkie & Co. We will be back stronger then ever. I have been in conversation’s with industry colleagues and there are still many ways for us to stay active with upcoming trends and techniques during this time and we will be back with our same expert technique’s and advice when this is all over. The Health and safety of my staff family and clients is our main priority. This will not beat us! My amazing staff thank you! thank you! thank you! I appreciate you girls so much! Thank you to all of All our amazing clients for all your continued support and kind words over the last few days my eyes are filled with tears but my heart is filled with love! 21.01.2022 Ladies, I thought I would take this opportunity to give some tips whilst we are at home in isolation to give some love to our hair. Take this time to use minimal heat/styling products in our hair. We are at home anyway giving our hair a break from heat will help with condition. And if you still are blow drying and straightening heat protect products are a must! Treatments- try to apply a treatment once a week. If your able to leave it for 20 minutes and wrap in a hot t...owel perfect Re-bond builder system. Perfect to strengthen those bonds in your hair now and when we re open. If your blonde is dull or throwing gold we have plenty of toning shampoo’s or colour mask conditioner’s that you can use to re-fresh your blonde. Take this time to show your hair some love to! 14.01.2022 Elkie & Co turn ONE! It is with so much gratitude, appreciation and excitement that Elkie & Co. celebrate their first year as a business! It is thanks to all of our amazing clients, friends and family that we have been able to do this. As many other businesses, it has not been an easy road being challenged by the Covid-19 pandemic. However, the continuous positivity and support we have received from our fabulous Gunnedah community and surrounding areas it has been such a rewarding and successful year. I have been extremely fortunate to have my amazing, talented team beside me throughout my first year in business. I am looking forward to many more years to come!
