21.01.2022 Just want to write a quick merry Christmas and happy new year to all our loyal customers. We have had a great season so far with about 6 weeks to go. Thanks to everyone who has helped along the way in particular our partners jamie and Tracey. Our helpers Bruce and zac Patterson, mick and grace Hoffman, nick, Henery, Kyle and Thomas. We pride ourselves on bringing good honest reliable young men and women.... We are trying to get to everyone as quick as we can so dont hesitate to call again to book in a date. Safe holidays mick and Ian Elkins

19.01.2022 On this day in 2015, Chris the overgrown merino from Canberra set the world record for the heaviest fleece removed in one shearing. The poor fella underwent a r...isky shearing operation to remove 40.45 kilograms of wool! It took four-time Australian Shearing Championship winner Ian Elkins and four helpers 42 minutes to shear Chris! Thankfully, he recovered well and was soon adopted to a sanctuary in NSW. His impressive fleece now lives in the National Museum of Australia. : Supplied, RSPCA.

02.01.2022 https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=KFiae-MCAJs. Just finished 50 Alpacas at Pooginook station In central NSW. Smashed it out very comfortably in less than 4 hours. Heres some footage from last year I think the video is 12 minutes normal time. 50 degrees in the shed and very dusty alpacas. Chewed through 18 combs and 55 cutters.
