25.01.2022 Thanks to obtaining an additional staff member we now have some extra Christmas appointments available! Due to the limited nature of these time slots, we are respectfully requesting that all appointment enquiries be made by phone (0359 414 578) during business hours 9am-5am. 25.01.2022 After a very hectic few weeks getting everyone's pups Santa ready, Ellagant Pooches is taking a short Christmas break. Clippers will resume buzzing on the 8th of January. We wish all our clients and their gorgeous fur kids an amazing and safe christmas and we can't wait to see you all in 2019

25.01.2022 Just a quick update to let you know that as of this Saturday, we will be back to regular work days, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday Fridays AND Saturdays. So for everyone that's been waiting for a Saturday appointment, we're baaaack.

23.01.2022 Good morning people and puppies, just letting everyone know that as of today, we will be opening up the salon again, just on a part time basis at this stage. Tuesday's, Thursday's and Fridays, with all the new normal, social distancing, door handle wiping, hand scrubbing, etc, etc (I think we all know the drill now),..procedures in place. So if your fur kids are looking a lil' scruffy, or smelling a lil' smelly (my dog!) the bath is running again.

22.01.2022 As it turns out we did not find out yesterday if we will be forced to close or not. It appears dog grooming is somewhat of a "grey area" and the powers that be can't decide if we are a cosmetic service or an animal welfare service. That being said, I feel pretty strongly that in the interest of safety, both yours, my staff, the families we all go home to and the broader community as a whole, Elegant Pooches will be closing as of end of trade Wednesday. If that will be for th...e full six weeks under mandatory lockdown or, (providing we are permitted to open legally) ,just for long enough that I feel we can operate safely remains to be seen and I'll will do my best to keep everyone informed. I want to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years and through these unfortunate times. Elegant Pooches will be there when this is over, ready to clip, brush and fluff your furkids back into shape. Stay safe, be kind to one another and give your pooch a hug (and a brush!!!)from us. 11.01.2022 Afternoon all! I hope you're all holding up ok and staying fine in quarantime Not the news we wanted today, looks like we're staying closed at least until the 28th of September. Fingers crossed there's no more extensions. I am keeping a call back list for when an opening date is confirmed though, so if you would like to get your puppa on the list, text your dogs name and breed to 0421021631 and I will be in touch when we have a clear date for reopening. Also, if you have ...any questions, queries or quandaries about keeping your furkids brushed, don't hesitate to ask, we're here to help! In spirit, if not in person. 09.01.2022 Morning all just a quick update on the current situation. We are currently still open and to the best of my understanding you are still allowed to travel to have your dog groomed, providing you live within the 5k radius of the salon. We won't know if we'll be forced to close or when and I guess we'll find out today together. However , we still have a few appointments available for today and tomorrow if you are in need of getting your pooch groomed. (All future appointments conditional on any announcements made today of course!) Stay safe everybody xx

01.01.2022 First the good news. We have an opening date of the 28th of September. Yay! Now the bad news. I will need some time to work out the requirements we need to meet to be able to open, any restrictions that may be in place, and what staff I'm allowed, if any. Secondly, my call back list is rather long and it's going to take me some time to work through it, so I have to ask you all to be patient just a little bit longer. Rest assured however, i will be working through that list in... exactly the order it was made and new phone bookings won't be made ahead of the call back list. (This is the fairest way I can see to approach this) So to everybody that signed up for a call back, I will start getting in touch from Monday onwards.
