HOT TIP TUESDAY Skincare, moisturisers, sunscreen, spray tans can take a couple of days to leave the skin cells and these are usually the culprits for leaving a slight colour change around the brow. 16.01.2022 Does your lash separation look like this? Well it should! How your lashes are placed and set on the rod will mirror your end result. Crossed over, chunky lash placement will mirror a crossed over and a chunky result. If you do get crossed over and less than desirable results, these are some of the steps you need to be taking. ... - Tight placement of the lashes, you do not want to see any loose lashes or bubbles at the base of the lash line and rod. - Straight, vertical lashes from the base of the lashes, through to the tip of the lashes. Although we do not apply lotions to the tips of the lashes, the tips still need to be placed correctly. - Individual lash separation. We can not say this enough. Take your time to separate the lashes as individually as possible on the rod. This is what the tip of our lash lifting tools are created for. (hot tip, separate from the base NOT from the midway of the lashes and use long, controlled motions ) - Check your work. Always look front on at your work. You can use a mirror, like in this picture or walk around the front of your bed. It is so easy to miss crisscrossing lashes or twisted lashes when only looking from behind your client's head. - If you have any baby anagen lashes that are not sticking to the rod, try and place them under your eyepatch to avoid processing. These lashes will be better lifted at their next appointment. HOT TIP IF you have any lashes fall off your rod after you've removed your lifting lotion BEFORE you've applied your setting (which can happen, being that the lash adhesive is water-soluble) simply go with with a tiny amount of adhesive to set those lashes back up. Remembering the "setting" solution "sets" the lashes into their new position, if you have lashes lose or falling off the rod THAT IS HOW THEY WILL SET. You can use blond and black to add on to lighten or darken the color or mixed together for a your blond cool pallet. : - , are neutrals. Absolutely amazing to use by themselves or in the mixture. To deepen these colours use black or mocha, to lighten use blond. - is very rich and suits dark redheads and the best to use on its own due to a colour complexity. - is very cool and deep! 02.01.2022 How does henna work with dark hair and skin tones? Let’s have a realistic talk about this with @sparkstudiomn_brows . . . How about comparing the client pictured to a fair skinned blonde girl. ... . . . If either client is looking at henna for the skin stain to last like a tattoo, they will BOTH be disappointed. The stain lasts somewhere around a week usually. So when that fades what’s left? How do the two clients compare? . . . The truth is the blonde client will experience the tint to the blonde hairs a lot longer. Probably around 6weeks. The dark haired client may feel underwhelmed when the skin stain fades, because the truth is, she already has dark hair. So why the heck would she take the time and pay the money to receive a service that washes away?! . . . When henna is applied, both will leave with not only a skin stain, a tint to the brow hairs, AND all the benefits of henna soaked into their skin and wrapped around each brow hair. With the way henna coats each hair, both clients will experience healthier brows. . . . I don’t want my clients to walk away uneducated about the service they are paying to receive.
