25.01.2022 TAKE ME BACK What a day that was. Before COVID was a household brand and we were all busy making plans for the future and drinking champagne on yachts with beautiful people.

25.01.2022 I had a wardrobe session with a client last night and we introduced this stunning new skirt to her collection. And she said "I'm OBSESSED with this!! But when will I wear it?" If you have something in your wardrobe you ADORE (and I hope you adore everything you own, if not - it needs to go), don't wait for a special occasion to wear it.... Every day is special. Sometimes I get all dressed up just to go down the road to pick up my supplements from the naturopath. True story. And trust me, there's no one there I need to impress. I just wanna wear my amazing things because it MAKES ME HAPPY. Life is short. Wear the things!! Pants by @sheikeandco (SS2019) An old but fave Tshirt from @zara which is a cotton linen blend and I fucked it up in the laundry and it lost all shape so I chopped it up. 17.01.2022 LIFE IS SHORT. BUY THE TSHIRT! I ventured out today, grateful for the gloomy weather, an opportunity to wear my original 1970s vintage varsity jacket (it's actually older than me!!). I found it (or, as I like to say about a statement piece, "IT found ME") at Empire Revival, my favourite vintage store in allll of the universe, and, of course it goes perfectly with my oversized Jinn by Lital Dorchin ... As always, when I'm out scouting for a client wardrobe, I happen upon special pieces that call my name. Today that piece was a STUNNING Tshirt by Sass and Bide which I couldn't resist!! I did this little photoshoot in the change room... I'm pretty sure the shop assistants must have thought "wow this chick takes a while to try on a Tshirt" . Ah well, the day in the life of a stylist. Moral of the story - if you LOVE it and it's YOU, and you can afford it - DO IT, MY DARLINGS. life is short. FUCK FASHION. Xx E.L
