23.01.2022 Dozer aka Ellenbanks Double Shot loves walking into town. He has been a bit lonely lately after the passing of Trilby (his playmate) last weekend but loving all the attention & extra hugs he's been getting. Nearly 4yo. Thanks for the update Lisa

22.01.2022 Ellenbanks Flame (Fire litter) Age 7 Call name Pudding Bunny, rodent and bird hunter extraordinare. The only dog I've ever seen snatch a magpie out of the air. Awesome guard dog, best foster dog mentor on the planet, hates cuddles and being held. Loves working cattle although we don't do it nearly enough. Only dog I've seen tip a cow in real life. She is also about the only cattle dog we've seen back a race in a yard dog trial. She healed my heart after losing my soul dog, Chip. Thanks to Puddy's mum Di for her update and giving her a wonderful life

16.01.2022 Here we have the gorgeous AraKo aka Ellenbanks High Voltage DOB: 9 May 2017 Hobbies: climbing on things, making lots of noise, being super cute, following his owner around, giving amazing cuddles.

16.01.2022 Today's dog is Boss "Bangeeri Wet NWicked".... Boss is pretty much the reason I started breeding registered Australian Cattle Dogs. I was lucky enough to buy Boss from Chris many years ago and at that time I had a unregistered girl (Smurf). After falling head over heels in love with this power house I decided it was time to buy a registered girl (that's a story for another day) and start Ellenbanks. Boss was quite the character. He let a select few people in our yard, was le...thal on possums and would actually run up a tree to get them, would have eaten our cat if he. Old have for him, destroyed MANY cages when his girlfriend was in season but for all his naughtiness he was the most beautiful, kind, loving protector I could have ever wanted in my life. Most of the red dogs on our page are Boss babies or grand babies! He certainly left his mark here at Ellenbank and totally broke my heart when he passed away. I hope he is still chasing possums somewhere and having a blast. See more

16.01.2022 Another "Gin" baby who has matured beautifully! Meet Grace (Ellenbanks Clover Club) who will be one next month. A sucker for belly rubs and loves coming to work at the dairy everyday with all the cows

14.01.2022 Gypsy, 16 months old- Ellenbanks Last Time Lover 16/2/19 Very loving & a companion dog won’t let you out of her site, loves coming to work & wants to meet every dog/person which comes her way other wise there is some major crying. Will always make herself very comfortable whilst sitting down, ball obsessed!

12.01.2022 'Ellenbanks Black Magic' (Gus). Gus was re-housed to his new owners at 3 1/2 years of age due to his original family having baby humans x 3. A lot of love & time was spent with their boy & this was reflected by the great handle he has, he is very smart. They found him a wonderful home where he has been for the past 3 years. Very big, strong, intelligent, energetic, extremely loyal, loves the farm, pottering in the garden, hanging out in his party shed, clearing the bush wi...th Mum and Dad and hunting, if Mum would just let him go for a few hours he would love it even more. His Mum calls him a big ‘Galah’ but not everyone agrees. Gus is very protective and faithful and is only interested in one person his Mum. It took Dad 12 months before he was allowed to pat him but he has learnt to tolerate Dad now Just! Will still give Dad a heel nip on the way past if he thinks he can get away with it! Gus is the best guard dog and has a lot of bite in him, not everyone’s desired trait, but his Mum loves his protective nature. He is happy to hang out with visitors once he knows who is there, but he wants nothing to do with them. People speak his name trying to befriend him and he won’t even give them a glance their way, Just looks at his Mum as if to say ‘please tell them to stop saying my name’. A little overweight at the moment, downfalls of winter and his Dad working at the Pet Foods but Mum says we will start working on the summer bod real soon. Gus inserts rolling eyes here. All up, Gus is a super big boy with loads of brain, personality and looks, typical of the Ellenbanks line. He is a huge part of his new family and loved by them all, Dad included. His family are forever grateful to his previous owners for being entrusted with their beautiful big boy. Thanks to Gussy's mum for writing this about her beautiful boy See more

09.01.2022 Ellenbanks Last Call, aka Baldric. 16/2/2019. Loves butt rubs and his ball, our world revolves around our ball, Rope comes a close 2nd. Loves to have morning snuggles with Mum and Dad. Loudest Burping and Farting dog I have ever come across most pig headed, stubborn, sooky loveable companion you could ever want.

04.01.2022 Registered name: Ellenbanks The Last Farewell. Name: Mika DOB: 10 April 2014 Hobbies: staring at me, persuading me to carry out belly rubs, jumping up on me (so I can catch her and carry her around), herding my guinea fowl (who are in an enclosure!), being beautiful.... We love getting these updates to share from our Ellenbanks babies owners

01.01.2022 Ellenbanks The Last Time, aka "Miley". DOB April 10th 2014. Miley lives for her daily walks with Mum and liver treats. She doesn't go much on the ball, destroys all of her toys she gets at Christmas except for one that she carefully selects and keeps for the whole year, until Christmas rolls around again. Like most cattle dogs she has an incredibly quirky nature. One of her things is to take herself to bed (our bed) quite early in the evening and then "yap" once every ten minutes to tell me to also get to bed. This always results in me telling her to shut up, which she eventually does and goes to sleep. This has happened every night for the last 5 years :-)

01.01.2022 Ellenbanks Thunderstruck AKA Ruby, Hooper DOB 09 May 2017 The smallest cattle dog you will ever see but makes up for it in personality. Pretty good at tricks and can usually master them within a day or so. Mouse hunter extraordinaire, also enjoys possum and bouncer hunting but is yet to actually catch one of them. She is the centre of our world and we love her so so much

01.01.2022 Ellenbanks Red Warrior, aka Clancy. DOB 30/07/2010. Favourite thing to do is chase 'sky rasins' and play with his stuffed santa that he carries everywhere. He also likes to annoy his old timer brother and voice his opinion when its time for dinner. Loves going for walks, playing in water and doing tic tocs with his girl when she gets home from school. Oh and is a massive guarder of the washing when its on the line, will stay with it till you bring it in just incase someone wants to take it
