25.01.2022 Mighty Durack River. Nearly 1km wide at the crossing on the Gibb River Road. #ellenbraestation #gibbriverroad

23.01.2022 Ellenbrae Station wish to advise that we will not be opening our gates in the foreseeable future for the 2020 season. We hope everybody and their families stay safe and we look forward to welcoming you to Ellenbrae next year.

21.01.2022 Simon and his team do a wonderful job with this charity event. Thank you for keeping everyone in the event and the Kimberley safe. We will see you next year supporting you.

21.01.2022 2011 Wet Season Photos With the change of season occurring and talk of la Nina I wonder what kind of a wet this one will bring. What do you think? These photos were sent to us from Joanne Foyster Cassels. Jo and Tony were caretaking Ellenbrae at the beginning of 2011 when they got to experience a BIG wet. They ended up getting choppered off the property due to the high levels of water. The photos you see are taken from around the homestead where guests enjoy their scones. Thank you Jo for sharing your photos with us.

21.01.2022 EX-TC ESTHER DOWNPOURS Ellenbrae Station in the Kimberley is rejoicing in some much needed rainfall today! The tourism and cattle station has received +190mm ...in the last 24 hours. Larissa said this creek was just a puddle yesterday, and now it’s more like a river. The creek had totally dried up for the first time in the local’s memories. | Larissa White, Ellenbrae Station

16.01.2022 A little bit of rain in the Kimberley this morning. Campers would have been a little damp enjoying a scone this morning.

14.01.2022 Hi Everyone, A little update. At the present time we are still closed for tourism. We will keep you posted on any changes. We are looking forward to when we can welcome you back. Cheers from Logan and Larissa.

12.01.2022 Thank you TC Esther for bringing 270ml. #gibbriverroad

12.01.2022 Yesterday we woke up to amazing scenes at Ellenbrae. After a big storm south of us caused the creek next to the Homestead to rise substantially and Ellenbrae to become an Island. Fortunately the water quickly receded and despite having water views at the homestead and a meter of water go through the campground we escaped without damage and minimal cleanup. This wet season is certainly putting on a show and the country is looking spectacular for everybody heading to the Kimberley. #gibbriverroadd #kimberleyaustralia #magickimberley #wonderoutyonder #wetseason

11.01.2022 Beautiful Gouldian Finch. It has been 5 years since we last saw them so close to the homestead.

08.01.2022 On the 18th of May Ellenbrae Station will be closed for camping as we host The Gibb River Bike Challenge. An annual event who raise money for the Royal Flying Doctors Service. The homestead will still be open during the day from 8am to 4pm for freshly baked scones, cuppa, drinks and light snacks. If you wish to donate to the cause please follow this link https://www.mycause.com.au/events/thegibbchallenge. Thank you Simon Rimmer for supplying the photos of the event.

07.01.2022 Sounds of the first rain for the season. #gibbriverroad #wonderoutyonder

07.01.2022 This time of the year Miss Evie is usually entertaining guests. This season she can only dream about them. #gibbriverroad #thekimberleyaustralia #sleepingdog #adventureawaits
