25.01.2022 Mrs Dicks is the ECC Scholastic representative and organiser of our Book Fair. All our ELC teachers jumped in and assisted with the selling of Scholastic books before and after school. With the support of our wonderful ECC families, our Book Fair was a huge success and we were pleased to showcase a whole table full of books that will be added to our library resources to enrich our students education.

23.01.2022 One week to go Who remembers last years athletics carnival. Just seven more days until the 2020 secondary athletics carnival. Students have been working hard to prepare and we are excited to get going next Wednesday.

22.01.2022 We are extremely proud of Shaylia for all of the awards she won at a local dance competition last week. To top it off, Shaylia has qualified for the UK Nationals in October next year.

18.01.2022 Visual Art Incursions We have been privilege to have two renowned artists in Claire Davnehall and Darren Hutchens run Art incursion for our Year 9 art students. Claire showed the students her expertise with water colours and encouraged the development of the students techniques while Darren showed students his experience and passion in contemporary and urban art forms. These incursions have been a wonderful opportunity for the students to learn from masters in their field an...d we look forward to working with them again in the near future. Joel Pitman | Teacher

17.01.2022 To create a smooth transition from Primary to Secondary School, we host a series of Transition Days throughout the year. The Transition Days are the perfect opportunity for external students joining us in 2021 to meet their new classmates and get to know one another as they prepare for Secondary school next year. Our Amazing Race Transition Day was designed to introduce the students to some of the non-core subjects offered at Ellenbrook Christian College. The day was a great success and all of the students are excited for the STEM-themed Transition Day that we will be hosting towards the end of the term! We still have limited places available in Year 7 in 2021. To book a school tour, please get in touch!

16.01.2022 Today we hosted our Kindergarten Orientation Day. For those unable to attend don’t worry we will also be hosting a meet the Teacher afternoon before school commences in 2021. Our 3 day Kindergarten is full and there are only a few places left in our 5 day Kindergarten.... 16.01.2022 The Kindergarten children have been learning all about Australian animals and have enjoyed listening to some lovely stories. One of these was the book Koala Lou by Mem Fox. In the story, Koala Lou takes part in the Bush Olympics, so we decided to host our very own Bush Olympics at school. All of the children participated in fun races including a sack race, an egg and spoon race, balancing bean bags on our heads, and scooping pails of water to pass on to their friends on the other side. The children had a fantastic time and great fun was had by all!

13.01.2022 Today Steve Friend and former ECC student April Madureira from the Red Frogs Australia organisation visited our College and presented to our Year 12 students about the work they do at Leavers and other festivals to help the community. The students learnt about the dangers of large social gatherings and how to protect themselves and stay safe. The Red Frogs mission is to help and support youth when needed by providing care and a point of contact if required.

09.01.2022 Day 2 of Camp: Raft making and racing and enjoying time on the flying fox. Some of our students over came their fears as they were reminded by their peers who were yelling, 'No weapon formed against you shall prosper'. There was a great sense of encouragement and team spirit amongst the class who are having heaps of fun!

09.01.2022 Congratulations to all the students who competed in the senior inter-house athletics carnival yesterday. The weather, house spirit and competitiveness were outstanding and all students should be super proud. 07.01.2022 Our Year 6 student leaders run a lunchtime club called Revival Tuesday. All primary students are invited to attend and get to know one another, playing games together, worshipping and learning about Jesus.

07.01.2022 Creating Coral Reefs from clay with our artists in residence, Claire Davenhall. In today's session, our Year 6 artists constructed our armatures by using hand-building techniques such as pinch pots, coils and slabs. During the next session, our students will add details, craft and improve the structures.

07.01.2022 Over two spectacular nights, our Primary students presented a production of Lion King. An enjoyable and wonderful experience for everyone who attended. Well done to Mrs Durham and the many staff that assisted in pulling this performance together, but most of all to our very special students who were fantastic.

03.01.2022 We are incredibly proud of our Year 12 Engineering students who designed and fabricated 8 new tee boxes for the golf courses at The Vines Resort and Country Club. The tee boxes were handed over to club manager Wayne Smith last week and have been placed on each of the par 3s. The purpose of the tee boxes is to place broken tees in them for repurposing or be disposed of, avoiding a mess on the pristine golf courses.

02.01.2022 Today we celebrated Harmony day! Our Primary students read the book Gods Dream written by Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Douglas Abrams. This story reminded us that we all need to work together to create a world where we all feel safe and loved.

02.01.2022 Enjoy a few highlights from the first day of our Year 5 Camp. The students are having a ball and even held a moment of silence for a dead jellyfish that they discovered on the beach.
