23.01.2022 It's hard to believe it's nearly 6 months since the world closed down. While I've been in travel hibernation, personal development has been a focus for me. I like to get out of bed on the right side and have developed a positive morning mindset routine. The bed is made, blinds opened and I smile I feed Rupert while the kettle is boiling for my lemon & ginger tea. I pop on some relaxation music and start my meditation. I started this when doing the 21 Days of Abundance pro...gram before I was given a Goal Visualisation Meditation. Taking 10 minutes each day to focus on the vision you have for your life is wonderful. It's really important for me to keep a routine for my days. Being stood down from a job I love as a Travel Consultant has been really hard, especially as I don't know what the future holds. I have been studying and keeping up with destination training while working on a travel project. Nutrimetics has also kept me connected. Having been a consultant for over 30 years, Zoom training with my team in Melbourne has opened up possibilities for me. #nutrimetics #meditation #selfcare #selfdiscovery #positivemindset #keepingpositive

21.01.2022 Rise and Shine, and start the day well What are your tips for getting out of bed on the 'right side'? I find having a good morning routine helps me to feel I've already achieved something for the day, and making the bed only takes a couple of minutes. While I was on stand down I was starting each day with a morning meditation, and it really made a difference to my mindset, so it''s time to get back into this habit again! 17.01.2022 I've been doing a lot of personal development over the last few months while on stand down from being a Travel Consultant. I'm now focusing on my health, starting with a 7 day clean eating plan to reset my eating habits. This is my 3rd day, and other than giving up my coffee, I'm really enjoying trying different recipes. I'm loving my Bircher muesli breakfasts and it's so easy to make. I soak the rolled oats in water the night before, then add sultanas, grated apple, cinnamon, nutmeg, greek yoghurt (the only dairy I'm eating) and top with raw nuts. My skin is the next project as it's good to do a check up every year to make sure our routine is still giving the best results. #cleaneating #7dayplan #birchermuesli #springclean #beautyreset #outofiso

12.01.2022 I always thought I needed to find a purpose in life, and really struggled with defining it. I'd had visions over the years of what my life would be like when I got older, for them to fade away as stuff happened. And then, all of a sudden, I am older and those dreams are a distant memory. Since being stood down from my career in the Travel Industry 4 months ago, I've been on a similar journey to find out what out what makes my heart sing. I love opening up the world for people... to explore. I love helping them plan their Wish List trips. This is the Why that drives me to wait for the travel industry to bounce back when the world finally opens again rather that looking for a new career. I had originally intended to restart my Nutrimetics business back in May for the extra income, as I'm currently on Jobseeker. I had just started on my journey of self discovery and realised that defining my purpose needed to be my focus. Finding my why reminded me of the Nutrimetics philosophy of 'Helping people to help other people', which is one of the reasons I joined the company over 30 years ago. I'm passionate about helping people feel great about themselves and always loved running beauty workshops for my clients. So while I can't help people plan amazing holidays, I can help them with Nutrimetics. Stay tuned for my updates over the enxt few days. I recommend having a professional bra fitting as it makes a difference when you are wearing the correct size and style bra for your shape. 08.01.2022 Do you have a make-up drawer which looks like this? One of the things to do on my 30 Day Self Care Checklist is a beauty collection Spring Clean. Beauty products have a use by date once they are opened due to bacteria which gets into them. Most products are ok for 12-24 months, however Mascara should be replaced after 3 months. If you aren't sure of the age of the product, you can usually tell by the smell or consistency. I've done my skin and body care cupboard, the make-up... drawervis next!
