17.01.2022 Is this your spot? Early mornings in this warm, late summer weather are just my favourites. Make yourself a coffee with the machine in your cottage and then steal off to sit on this bench and listen to the birds as the sun comes up through the trees. Heaven

16.01.2022 If you sit out on the verandah at one of our cottages, chances are you will spot this gorgeous girl and her mate patrolling the grounds looking for tasty bugs. These two have owned our place for longer than we have 4 weeks ago she could not stand on that left leg at all. We spotted her hopping on the right one with the left tucked up. Not sure what happened but we didn’t intervene, just kept an eye on her. It’s been a slow recovery and might never be perfect but this week she started walking on it and this morning I saw her collecting strings and sticks to build a nest. We might even get another baby this year
