24.01.2022 I went for a walk the other day and I kid you not I came across 4 disposable masks tossed aside. I really wish society could look at this wonderful planet as something other then a trash bin. Sort of goes against why you would wear a mask to cease the spread of covid by just discarding it anywhere. #reuseable #disposeresponsibly #elliearth

14.01.2022 I did some #selfishsewing today. Sewing along with the @noodlehead531 for the #pepintote #sewalong. #Upcycling a denim skirt and some jeans. I have to say it's looking fantastic so far, just the exterior and that's week two done. I did make it slightly harder for myself by making the handles and a fancy pocket. (loving)... The pattern is pretty straightforward and the design is very minimalist (just my style) but lovely classic. I should be sewing some wet bags for my stall.. oops I lovingly recycled/homed my sewing machines so I could get a more Heavy duty straight stitcher #janomeHD9 and it Sews brilliantly, I tested it out on some awesome #necessaryclutchwallet s and finally used my #minimalistwallet pattern. Love using up my fabric stash. Now back to study. ...
