25.01.2022 What we put into our bodies affects our mood and, ultimately, our life outcomes & productivity. This is a quick lunch meal assembled from a few staples we keep in our fridge: steamed kale, roasted sweet potatoes (or carrots or pumpkin) some fresh garlic, quick-fried Malaysian tofu (can get ready-made in supermarkets) and some chillies & fresh coriander. Season the greens w soy sauce when you hit them up with a spoonful of water & garlic. 20.01.2022 Healthy start to the day leads to a more productive & more focused day. Those people lucky enough to be born with a natural high focus dont get distracted by life & other peoples needs. I am, sadly, not in that category :-) Hence I create an environment around me to help me be more focused & more productive. In Gallup parlance - my Focus is on 14 but my Individualisation & Relator & Harmony are in my Top 5. 20.01.2022 Wishing everyone a productive & healthy week! Before you go to bed on a Sunday - spend a little time planning your week. Your Menu Plan will take no more than 10min - and youll have a shopping list out of that planning as well! Set all those difficult & unpleasant (but necessary) tasks - such as doing your tax, writing a business plan or working on a challenging aspect of your project - for FIRST THING in the morning. This is when your glucose levels are high & you have a higher degree of willpower & are able to self-regulate more easily. However, if you are like most people, youll find a year later not much has actually changed in your ...life. After all, how many people who read books about how to make millions of dollars ACTUALLY become millionaires over night? Research by Harvard Business School says not many! 12.01.2022 Even my ultimate hero Dr Marshall Goldsmith (a coach to 100s of Fortune 500 CEOs - including General Motors, IBM, Microsoft, Target, WallMart etc) employs a woman to call him every evening at 5pm to go through a list of questions that begin with: "Have I done my best today to..." A quicker version is a Daily Habits Scorecard - where you score yourself out 1 to 5 (1 being "not great today" and 5 being "Ive performed great in this area today". The goal is not to be perfect, it is to become more self-aware each day about the habits that matter most in helping you reach long-term success.

As an MBA post-graduate from UQ Business School and a Master Gallup Strengths Coach I chose my tools very carefully & from respected neuroscience, psychology and sports psychology professionals. There is nothing wrong in visualising the future you truly want to have. In fact, I use visualisation and Vision Boarding in... 90% of my career, business or life coaching sessions. However, your visualisations have to be realistic for where your life is right now. Dont imagine a $100million, 200-foot super yacht as your dream boat if you are currently unable to pay for a tinny. A boat like that isnt a Goal - its a premature and potentially damaging fantasy! You are better off visualising owning a 30-foot sailing boat - until, step-by-step you reach your Super Yacht!
