20.01.2022 Additional cutaways for better blade entry on Nomad 595 as advised by consulting Naval Architect Craig Elliott. I would hate to launch a new short double that had no consideration for paddler ergonomics or input from a consulting Naval Architect. Mirage Kayaks 600 was released with recommendation from their consulting Naval Architect completely ignored. Elliott Kayaks will always place maximum value on inputs from qualified people. We design kayaks for maximum benefit for our clients.

20.01.2022 New Nomad 595 plug has been finalised and is ready to mould. 595 will replace my two legendy touring doubles,Nomad and Tomaree. New 595 has the same storage volume of the Tomaree. It is more stable than both Nomad and Tomaree. 595 is very capable in heavy conditions.... Hull speed is close to Tomaree. 10klm per hour is a comfortable cruising speed in the 595 with higher hull-speed available on efforts. Nomad 595 complies to Hawkesbury Classic Short Rec Double and Yukon regulations. New computer generated laminar flow of bow produces an extremely low bow wave. Expect new pricing of $3295. Finished weight in Kevlar of 24kg. Carbon Kevlar 20kg $3995. See more

19.01.2022 Elliott Kayaks are proud to introduce a sub 6m double kayak that has more hull-speed than a Mirage Kayaks 600. In accordance with directions from our consulting Naval Architect we have increased the cut-aways for better paddle entry of the rear paddler. Elliott Kayaks will always listen to professional advice.

14.01.2022 Time to update my kayak carriers.

13.01.2022 First delivery a very light weight Rambler at Horsham Vic Next very stable and light Nomad Double Kayak at Toorak, Melbourne.

07.01.2022 Busy week. Proud to supply Glynn Edwards a 15kg Elliott 480. Glynn lost his house and kayak in the recent bushfire disasters. Elliott Kayaks heavily subsidised the fantastic fund raising of Elaine Cruise to make sure Glynn had a Merry Christmas. My good friends Steve Muir and Roy Farrance each added a paddle and PFD to Glynns kit.... Great people helping others in a time of need. Other kayaks are of to join my fleet of Sydney Harbour Kayaks.
