02.01.2022 If you’re travelling up to Gunbower State Forest this weekend, you’re sure to see our crews upgrading River Track. A 12 km section of the track, from Stantons... Break downstream to Robinson’s Break, is being sheeted with crushed rock. This is the first time this section has been sheeted. The upgraded surface will provided greater and more efficient access, in and out of the area, in the event of a bushfire for both our firefighters and the public. It will also allow us to get in heavy machinery such as bulldozers and excavators into the forest during a fire. River Track remains open but please obey road signs.
