24.01.2022 What a year it’s been. With each new challenge we’ve felt our frustration and sense of camaraderie grow- and as we emerge from 2020, we’re proud. Of you, and of us. We’re exhausted, and hopeful, and looking toward 2021 with a generous dose of optimism. Give a hug, or a few, and breathe a sigh of relief. We made it. Merry Christmas.... #christmas2020

21.01.2022 Covid-19 and climate change: two very different crises. But as the country begins to re-open and with bushfire season approaching, there are now lessons to be learned from Covid-19 that would help us better communicate and navigate the climate emergency.

20.01.2022 How could electricity consumers benefit from the rise of the gig economy? With innovations in P2P trading and changes in Australian energy regulations, the The University of Melbourne's Energy Transition Hub and Climate and Energy College shared findings, in a webinar sponsored by the Victorian Clean Technology Fund. #P2P #gigeconomy #renewables #cleanenergy #innovation #uber

17.01.2022 This week we celebrate and recognise #NAIDOC2020: Always Was, Always Will Be. We recognise that generations of First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years, and we see the importance of learning from their adaptation and intimate knowledge of the land to endure climate change and provide sustainably for the future. The Ellis Jones office is located on the land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. We acknowledge their sovereig...nty and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We walk with you. #NAIDOCWeek

16.01.2022 Most of us spend about one third of our waking life at work. It’s a big part of our daily lives and can have a considerable effect on our mental health in a positive or negative way. Here’s how we worked with SafeWork NSW to provide organisations of all sizes and sectors the tools they need for better mental health at work. #mentalhealth #workplaces

15.01.2022 The challenges are many in Australia’s aged care system from the workforce to the personalisation of care and financing. Our Principal, Rhod Ellis-Jones, sees the Royal Commission report as an opportunity, and shares an early perspective in this month’s edition of Move. He will also speak alongside collaborators, Liz Still MBA and Steven Spurr, at the Leading Age Services Australia Royal Commission Final Report event tomorrow, 10 March 2021. https://ellisjones.com.au/our-aged-care-future/

15.01.2022 In 2019, Deakin University was given Federal Government funding to set up a hydrogen research centre. We helped them establish Hycel a ground-breaking centre on a mission to ready Australia for a hydrogen economy. https://ellisjones.com.au//hycel-brand-for-at-deakin-unive

14.01.2022 As COVID case numbers have dropped and lockdown has begun to lift (in this little corner of the world at least), we are looking to the horizon with hope, and more than a pinch of positivity. So how can we unleash the power of design to boost optimism? Our Director, Design, David Constantine, explores. #design #optimism

08.01.2022 There’s nothing like a team expedition to the NGV for inspiration. Thank-you City of Melbourne and National Gallery of Victoria for making our city a creative's paradise.

08.01.2022 Like bears emerging from winter hibernation, we walk out to warm sunshine, the (elbow) embraces of people we hold dear, and the places we have missed. Only, we haven’t actually been asleep; rather, befuddled, unsure, maybe somnambulant. This new reality is partly familiar and yet also strange. Looking back at the sometimes wild predictions of how life would change, we are tentatively pressing the GO button, not sure what the result might be. The latent effects of extreme lock...downs will present subconsciously and consciously for months to come. We need to take care of business, and people. Walking the entertainment districts in Melbourne, the hardest hit of all the nation’s cities, the joy is palpable and motivating. One thing is certain, we are Australian, and we love being outdoors, celebrating this beautiful country and the diverse, quirky, surprising and immensely satisfying experiences our ingenious peers are always creating. Ahhhhh, it’s good to be back-ish. Dive into Edition #14 of Move here: https://bit.ly/38yDQQl
