05.01.2022 With sad news, we announce the passing of Geoff Hore on the 10/11/2020 aged 83yrs. Loved wife of Rosa for 60 years. Father & Father in law to Dean & Dianne, Shane & Andrea, Steven & Deanne & Tony. Dearly loved pop to 12 Grandchildren. Geoff’s life & passion were farming. Holstein cattle & stud pigs became his love. Geoff & Rosa continued on from Geoff’s parents in 1960, with Elmar. Elsie & Martin began ‘Elmar’ in the late 1920s @ Leitchville, Vic. Geoff had an interest in n...ot only breeding & showing cattle, but also governance of the Holstein Society. Geoff worked through the Sub Branches of Northern & North West, and then was Victorian Branch President 1989-91. Geoff also served on the Federal Council for 9 years. Geoff was awarded life membership of Victorian Branch and received his Master Breeder Award in 1998. Geoff & Rosa thoroughly enjoyed the many friendships the cattle fraternity provided them. We as a family have many great memories & stories that we can share for years to come. Private family burial See more
