The Shiraz Petit Verdot, where the Shiraz Fruit has come from the Burgoyne Vineyard, coming into its own! The Petit Verdot from the Beaurepaire Vineyard, the drought helped deliver a deep concentration we rarely get on occasions like this. Tasting Note: Nose displays the distinct plummy violets, tobacco, gingerbread, spice.. Palate shows the same but with more creamy berries, green pepper and anise on the length. The acid is strong and holds the structure together, but the ripeness and plump softness in the wine makes this elegant wine even more drinkable now, but will accept 8 - 10 years of aging.
