24.01.2022 The Merimbula trip had a special day today with students from Pambula Lumen Christie Catholic College and their Teacher Megan Hergenhan (née Quarmby) organising activities on the beach. Thanks to Staff member Bob Gay for arranging this. And thanks to the students.

14.01.2022 It is with sadness we report on the passing of our good friend Brian Slattery. Brian worked at our Elouera Recycling in Young for many years as well as enjoyed trips to Singapore, New Zealand, The Pacific Islands and Tasmania as part of our travel program. 14.01.2022 The tour group is having fun the ship can’t get into Port Arthur so we had two days in Hobart but I booked a bus and we are going to Port Arthur anyway.

14.01.2022 Well we are back in action for another year. The Day programs are back for the year today. We hope you all had a lovely break. Staff had a training day yesterday, and we are all ready for a busy year. So we look forward to seeing you all back today.

11.01.2022 On Monday we had the pleasure of Deputy Prime Minister Michael McCormack opening our new multi purpose hall at the Elouera Special School.

11.01.2022 As of this Saturday 19 September we will be opening Elouera Hire Saturday mornings 8:00am to 10:30 am. Equipment tends to go fast on weekends so book your equipment for pick up between 8:00 am and 9:00 am, After 9:00 am any booked items not collected will be returned to available for hire to anyone. Call us on 02 6942 2945.

10.01.2022 The new equipment for the recycling plant is arriving for next weeks install. We have already done some work getting ready in the shed and poured a huge concrete slab for the hoppers. This will enable us to recover more material and reduce our tailings helping the environment and of course tipping costs.

05.01.2022 Students enjoyed dressing up at Elouera Special School for our Halloween celebrations last week.

04.01.2022 If you see activity up at our Yass Road factory (the pallet factory) it’s our renovations to make the site the new Elouera Hire service which is of course Wattle Hire rebadged. We will open with improved ice production. Some new equipment and a bigger more accessible location. We are excited to see our property get the works it deserves.

03.01.2022 A few weeks ago some of our service users attended the Justice Crew concert in Young. Gavin and Lucy even got to meet the band. Tarah had a nice evening.

02.01.2022 Construction of the upgrade to our Young recycling plant is almost complete. Testing begins next week.
