25.01.2022 ELPE Health have been in undated with a large number of referrals.. we are looking to add another Occupational Therapist to our team, if you or someone you know is an experienced or new graduate (new grad would need the ability to complete basic Activity of Daily Living Assessment (ADLs) for participants with NDIS plans) the successful candidate if required will be well supported by our visiting OT (Mental Health Accredited, extensive knowledge in paediatric and behavioura...l therapies). This position would suit someone looking to work part time (but may increase based on referrals and if successful applicant has capacity) or looking for additional hours to complement their current employment??? Basically if you are a newly graduated or experienced OT looking work in a Rural/Remote Private Practice this is the job for you. ELPE Health have the capacity to either offer Part Time Employment or a Sub-contracted arrangement.

Further extending the support ELPE Health offers to the community, Lynette recently partnered with The Salvation Army, providing a donation of sleeping bags for those experiencing homelessness in Tasmania. Lisa is an accredited exercise physiologist (AEPs) and has been working for over 15 years in hospitals, community health and private practice. She is extensive experience working conditions with other allied health practitioners for optimal outcomes. Exercise Physiologists can support participants to:... - Achieve physical and well being goals through education, exercise programming, motivational support/coaching and monitoring - Improve health outcomes, mobility and mental health through programs aligned to participant goals - Encouraging participants to self manage their health/conditions for the long term by integrating them into low cost, community based programs as suited (e.g. community gyms) with intermittent supervision as required - Provide training and support to carers and family to improve physical outcomes and make effective use of current supports - Work alongside other allied health/carers to ensure treatment is aligned with other therapy goals Who is Suitable for an Exercise Physiology Referral? 15.01.2022 Also joining our team is Rosie Butler Occupational Therapist. Rosie graduated from York St John University in England with a First Class Honours in Occupational Therapy in 2012, having completed a research thesis focused on the Theories, Models and Approaches used by Occupational Therapists in Forensic Mental Health. Rosie was accepted to present this research at the 16th International Congress of the World Federation of Occupational Therapists in Yokohama, Japan in 2014 an...d it has since been cited in a number of Mental Health guidelines in the UK. Since graduation Rosie has worked in Tasmania with a variety of different clients. 6 years as part of the Tasmanian Health Service saw her move through the acute hospital services, the specialised area of Hand Therapy and also community based services. Rosie went on to focus on Paediatrics for a year in Private Practice with a focus of working with children with Autism. Rosie will work in a sub-contracted capacity with ELPE Health, to assist with the increased number of NDIS Participants needed Assessment and skill building. We have a large number of referrals to work through and will be able to start accepting new referrals in the near future. While she has experience in providing Occupational Therapy services in the community, vocational rehabilitation, injury management and Teaching Nursing and Allied Health Students, her more recent passion has been supporting people at the end stages of their lives through palliative care. She is a dynamic presenter providing many education sessions to staff, teachers and families. Topics have included manual handling and transferring, The sensory system and trauma and the Alert program. Kelly has in the last few years, also enjoyed working with children and adolescents particularly those with mental health disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, sensory issues, dyslexia and visual perception difficulties.
