The call was made to us from Scott Cordwell early December and we designed, built, powdercoated and delivered the first one before christmas with the second delivered after the christmas break. An exceptional job from our team, and a happy customer at the end.

09.01.2022 Our powder coating oven can take items up to 8 metres in length. Just look at the nice ripple finish (Aztec Silver) that Andy has put on this clients trailer.

09.01.2022 We have just added a mandrel bender (NC) to our workshop. This enables us to bend pipe, tube whether it be round, square or rectangular and keep its original form through the entire curve without deforming the original shape. Great for all sorts of applications including exhaust systems, handrails, and for our custom made fencing. A perfect bend every time

07.01.2022 Friday night, Liverpool Street in Hobart. Everything came together without any dramas. The structure for the new floor of the Les Lees building is now in place.

07.01.2022 A set of spear top gates fabricated and ready for powder coating. We have our own powder coating oven and can make them just about any colour that you can imagine.

05.01.2022 Elphinstone Enterprises has just been awarded the contract with Fairbrother for the structural steel and metalwork for Goulburn Street residential apartment project in Hobart.

04.01.2022 Elphinstone Enterprises has been awarded the structural steel contract for the Dominic College Redevelopment in Hobart. The first 2 stages are underway with a third stage to be started at a later date. The project involves the demolition of existing classrooms and new classrooms being built. We are due to be onsite for stage 1 in January, Stage 2 will be around May and stage 3 is yet to be determined. The project is to be completed by the start of the school year in 2021. This is the largest project that we have been involved with to date as there is over 80t of steel in the first 2 stages.

04.01.2022 These are the first of our fence panels made with our mandrel bender. The quality is amazing and I am proud to put my name on this product. Tasmanian made using Australian steel. A Local product made by Tasmanians.

01.01.2022 Elphinstone Enterprises has started onsite with VOS construction for the Aldersgate aged care facility expansion in Newnham.

01.01.2022 This is our latest workshop project. The task is to take 2 regular roll trailers and turn them into 1 larger trailer to transport heavy vehicles on the TOLL ships between Burnie and Melbourne. Our project is to fabricate 2 of these larger trailers for TOLL. The basic principle is to cut one trailer in half and join the 2 halves onto the outside of the uncut trailer.
