22.01.2022 The Elphinstone WR810 Water Cannon is a dual application machine. A wireless or tethered controller allows the operator to position the 8m telescopic boom for washing down valuable ore fines or high-pressure blasting of material blockages from a safe remote location. The operator can control the side and rear water sprays for dust suppression of haul roads from the cabin. Other features include a proven Caterpillar power train, all-wheel drive, oscillating hitch, heavy-duty axles, fingertip controlled brake retarder for downhill haulage, spacious 3-seat climate-controlled ROPS/FOPS certified cabin, automatic lubrication, fire suppression, mine water supply connection, automatic boom pack up and much more. 20.01.2022 The Mining Legends Project, a zero-hours rebuild of an R2900G loader, was a private-sector initiative that provided significant proceeds to several critical organisations and charities around Australia. Mining Legends recently sat down with the creator of the famous R2900G, Mr Dale Elphinstone. They spoke with Dale about the Mining Legends Project and his thoughts on the initiative. 13.01.2022 Elphinstone is excited to be delivering a WR820 10m3 Agitator to a valued customer in South Australia through Cavpower. Engineered to maximise productivity via volume, speed and braking performance, the agitator will be used for bulk transport of concrete underground to backfill voids, continuous pours and construction. The bowl has a rated capacity of 10m3 and allows mixing of wet or dry product with variable speed control.
