15.01.2022 Sorry my socials have been so quiet lately, Ive had 2 weeks holidays and was making the most of relaxing in preparation to finish the year off strong (Im over half way now!!!) Im ready for another exciting, full on 10 weeks studying & practicing the above! Im also heading to the Whitsundays for a spa tour + mini holiday in September As always, I will need models for assessments (in Melbourne) so if youre interested send me a message! I will also post the dates soon. C...ant wait to share all the fun stuff I get up to this term (I promise to try and post more) More exciting news coming soon also.. xo

14.01.2022 A day in the life.. (weekday version) Wake at 5am, priority is to get my makeup on, leave home at 5:45am on the train at 6:45am. Try to squeeze breakfast in at some stage. Get to the city by 8:40am, red lips and slick bun are last minute (this pic was taken in my car at the station). Class all day until 4:30pm and then back on the train at 5:10pm to be home in Alex by 7:45pm. Annnnd repeat. Lots of people are quick to tell me that beauty school is easy or that I just flu...ff around all day doing nails and makeup definitely not true. When you love what you do and youre dedicated, it makes it all worth it on that note, Ive only got 5 weeks left of this term (half way) with a mini holiday/spa tour to Hamilton Island in that time

01.01.2022 GIRLS, LISTEN UP! Something a little different from me.. I feel this is part of my duty of care to my followers and all my future clients especially being a part of the beauty industry. This morning I listened to a podcast that really touched me. (@shamelesspodcast) ... I truly believe it shares such valuable information and can inform so many who turn a blind eye. It speaks of a girl, @nataliefornasier, who at just 25 years of age has stage 4 melanoma cancer. A few quick facts about melanoma: * melanoma is the most common cancer in young Australians * Australia has the highest melanoma rates in the world * It is estimated that 1 in 13 men + 1 in 21 women will be diagnosed with melanoma I urge everyone to listen to this, to be aware and also to take a few simple steps that can make a major difference: * know your body and if you have moles, get them checked regularly * always wear sunscreen & other measures (hats, long sleeves etc) to protect your skin * stop using tanning oils and promoting sun tanning in a positive way, there is nothing cool about having a tan * make fake tan your new best friend!!! If I can make a difference to just one person from sharing this, then I will be so happy. Please spread the word and dont be afraid to make a difference.
