25.01.2022 5 weeks post partum today. This has been a completely new journey for me. I didn’t train at all back when I had Richie 7 years ago. This time around my whole life is (was) based around the gym. I have to admit I am struggling with the abrupt halt to about 99% of my physical activity. Working, living & breathing fitness 6 days a week, morning to night, surrounded by loud music and good vibes to stillness. A lot of quiet and a lot of sitting. It goes without saying that I ...love Coco and being her mum but it is not all I am. At the moment, my days and my body are for the most part someone else’s - and I am proud of what it has and is continuing to achieve. But it is something I am having to consciously be mindful about - instead of falling into negative self talk because it can’t do what it used to or it doesn’t look like it used to. I’ve been given some exercises to start on from a women’s exercise physiologist and I’m keen to get started again! I’m grateful that everything seems fine physically and there are no complications. I definitely don’t look the same as I used to, but I’m WEARING THE SHORTS anyway - coz it’s bloody hot . Just keeping it real . 25.01.2022 Just remember: the people who love you and want to spend time with you don’t do it because of what you look like or your body composition . It’s not your body fat percentage that makes people feel good around you. Your vibes do that and your soul does that . 24.01.2022 Will Lifting Make Me Bulky? There are a million good things that will happen before you as a woman will appear bulky from doing resistance training! Increased bone density, improved posture, increased strength, less chance of injury, and not to mention that moment you feel like an absolute BEAST . Women especially should not be nervous to lift weights, and should be excited to reap the benefits of resistance training. 22.01.2022 So our 3 day lockdown is done here in Brisbane, and I’m so grateful that we only had to do it for that long. We have to wear masks to train in the gym for the next 10 days, but I’m just grateful to be able to go to the gym. I’m grateful to be living in a part of the world that can sort these things out quickly so we can continue to run businesses so people can provide for their families. It’s easy to feel positive about situations if you find things you are grateful for. What are you grateful for today?

17.01.2022 I can’t wait to do Muay Thai again! Can’t believe it’s been over 6 weeks since I did it last catch me next week dying because I’ve got no fitness . In saying that, Since I started training around 6 years ago, I have probably never taken more than a week off. In more recent times I’ve definitely plateau’d as I wasn’t really challenging myself. I’ve definitely lost fitness, strength & muscle mass as a result of pregnancy and the time off and as I’m gearing up to start training again - I’m looking forward to actually having things to work towards and improve on. It felt bloody good to get outside in the sunshine and get my steps up. And Coco and Rich enjoyed the fresh air too . 14.01.2022 11 years of me and an ever changing body shape . I just want people who follow me (especially women) to know - I CAN RELATE. I’ve been overweight. I’ve been pregnant. I’ve been an absolute shredded mess and just about everything in between. If I was to give a review on the middle picture: very grumpy, no menstrual cycle, no social life, didn’t even like being that small - 0 stars - would not recommend. The abs are NOT worth what it takes to get there, I REPEAT: the abs are N...OT worth it . I can 100% say with confidence that I am at my happiest when I’m training for enjoyment & performance based goals while enjoying a balanced lifestyle being able to have fun and eat & drink with friends and family when I want. Sure there are times when you cut back to reign it in or get healthier and that is totally fine, but life is also to be lived and loved. And you can’t do that if you’re striving to have a six pack for most of your life. Right now my goals are to get my fitness back up & to enjoy the physical benefits which will come along with that #DoItOrElsa See more

13.01.2022 I feel like I need to address something. I posted this pic on my story as a memory from 2 years ago. I’ve received several ‘’ reacts which I guess I can’t really be irritated by because I did post it, but it does irk me slightly. I need people to know that this was when I was in comp prep. I just need the women who follow me to know that this is NOT a body type to idolise. I was in a calorie deficit for 20 weeks. I lost my menstrual cycle for 10 months. Sure, it may look gre...at in a photo on Instagram but what you don’t see is the fact that I went to my niece’s birthday party with my packed chicken & rice. Or that I’d gotten up early to do my weights & cardio that if I missed, I felt like the whole prep was derailed. I’m only going from my experience - I had a great coach who had nothing but my best interests at heart. And some people love this sport. But for me the abs were NOT worth it. It ended in an unhealthy relationship with food for a very long time. I would much rather live my life and enjoy food and drinks with my family and friends. So please don’t idolise these bodies - they are not realistic OR sustainable. Maybe just aim for performance over aesthetics and to be healthy #DoItOrElsa See more

12.01.2022 So this morning I trained and quickly realised that the top I’d chosen today smelt fkn horrible . It was definitely the top and not me, before anyone says anything haha. It must have sat in the pile of mine and james’ sweaty training clothes for a while before it was washed. ANYWAY - I seriously debated for a couple of stations in my head whether I should take it off or not. It’s been probably over a year since I trained without a top on and I was definitely NOT planning to ...start doing it again today . I don’t look good enough, my tummy isn’t flat enough, I don’t look like a personal trainer is supposed to look, I’m too pale. Were some of the things making me consider keeping a gross, stinky top on . Like, really? I actually thought about keeping it on? Then I snapped out of it and thought, don’t be stupid. You’ve just had a baby AND THE SHIRT SMELLS. Take it off . So I took it off. So let’s all just stop being silly and worrying about silly things like what we look like. 11.01.2022 Muay Thai is % my most favourite way to sweat . I’m actually finding Muay Thai a lot easier to do than any other plyometric type stuff we do in class. It’s probably not a surprise that things like burpees and jump squats are getting pretty hard to do . 10.01.2022 As hard as it is to get motivated enough to get up and get moving in the mornings, I always know how much better I’m going to feel afterwards. Things are starting to get a bit harder to do as I’m obviously getting a bit heavier than usual and I get sooo much more puffed out than I used to. I like to think I’m breathing for two - that’s why . At the moment I’m going between the HIIT Station Geebung HIIT @ HOME sessions and the lululemon Australia and New Zealand regional s...weats with my fellow ambassadors & staff. It’s definitely not easy, but it’s the new normal and I am enjoying the different workouts. 06.01.2022 ANNOUNCEMENT Morning everyone! I feel I need to make a public announcement in regards to the news of the second wave of closures last night and in particular the notice that Personal Trainers are able to train up to 10 people outdoors. I am aware of this and I appreciate every single client, friend and even stranger who has reached out to me expressing their support and willingness should I offer this or 1 on 1 PTing as a service during this time. As this is my passio...n and also a way of generating income for me and my family, it would be easy to take on clients and go about this business especially now that it has been allowed by the government. However, as the implications and dangers of this virus are so varying and uncertain, I will not be going forward with PTing at this time. I have not just myself being pregnant to worry about, but also my parents who live with us. I just do not feel (especially as I’m not in a desperate financial position) that it is the responsible thing to do at this current time. I am not judging other PTs who choose to do this as I understand people need to make money. I just do not want to add to unnecessary interaction. In saying that, I will be offering written exercise programs to anyone who wishes to still support me or just wants some stuff to do . I will cater to whatever equipment you do or do not have. If you’re interested, shoot me a message. Once again, I want to express my deep deep appreciation and gratitude for everyone who has reached out saying they would train with me, I feel weird declining work from people and almost like I’m letting them down, and it’s a decision I have not taken lightly. 03.01.2022 This is me. I’m striving to be unapologetically authentic because I feel that’s how I can make the most difference. How I can help the most people. I love being real & raw when it comes to motherhood, fitness & just life in general and I think people can relate to that. I’m heading back to work and in doing so I’m embarking on unchartered territory for me. To say I’m apprehensive would be a bit of an understatement . Working out how I’m going to juggle being a mum of two and go back to work is going to be a learning experience. Not taking away from the fact that I have a lot of help and support, I want to be able to enjoy my work again and also enjoy and be present for my family. Let’s see how it all goes! #DoItOrElsa
