19.01.2022 Today felt magical. Like one of those perfect autumn days. Actually days like these remind me of my home town Menlo Park, California. Where everyday was like today...magical and perfect. An event organisers dream! Every one used to joke we had the best weather in the world. But I’m not sure I ever appreciated it as much as I do now that I no longer live there. It’s funny that. This gorgeous fern canopy was inside the lyrebird enclosure at the #healesvillesanctuary with my 3 year old underfoot. #light #texture #designinspiration #fern #canopy

18.01.2022 Did anyone else feel like colour just left their world a bit over lockdown last year? Was it just me? I feel like as we are beginning to resume ‘normal’ ish life again I am seeing the colour again in the world around us. Maybe I’m wearing rose coloured glasses, maybe it’s just hope filling the world again. Either way I am thrilled to bits about it. None of us are; we all fall short of the glory of God. We are never enough. Which is why I am thankful for Christ and his love for each of us. He calls us to love one another. 06.01.2022 Even tho it might be raining outside it is always bright and sunny inside Zen Den This gorgeous small businesses is one of our neighbours at our live in person events at the #elthamcommunityandreceptioncentre We are missing bringing people together there right now but these legends are adapting to the times and supporting this local community beyond belief. They deserve a shout out. ... That bounty fridge of goodness is chock full of take home meals, soul warming soups, even fun rainbow cookie dough to make with the kids or for yourself So be sure to pop in and show these guys some love. #keepthecaffinecoming

02.01.2022 Growing up my Mum always made me write thank you notes. I never quite understood it. Surely just saying it was enough yeah? I think now the idea of a thank you note seems almost like a lost art form, like dropping over at someone’s house unannounced, or asking if someone else can come to the phone. But the one thing I think thank you notes bring are the thought that the gift you gave made someone so thankful that even long after the event they thought of you and wanted to let... you know how appreciated you are. Here at @elthamdesignmarket we are all about supporting those small businesses. And bringing beautiful artists together with a community of customers and supporters who admire and encourage these small businesses to keep going and keep creating.
