The most common types of interval workouts are: Fartleks - This funny term is Swedish for speed play. These are multi-pace running workouts that alternate between a short interval at a fast pace (usually 1, 2 or 3 minutes long) followed by a longer interval run at a slower pace, but not a jog. . . If you are struggling with getting out on your own then the perfect solution is meet up with like minded people. All of us encourage each other, motivate to push the comfort zones and have a great laugh. All fitness levels I can adapt to you! Dont just do the same thing, day in and out. I first did on a trail run in Wilsons Prom, Lucy was under age so her dad would run these epic endurance runs with her.... fast forward a few years and you can still see her running with her dad around Eltham and Diamond Creek but also on the Worlds stage smashing Ultra endurance events in many countries! You make us Proud Lucy!!! Well done!

17.01.2022 By now those training up to Melbourne Marathon will be in their second week of Taper Training. . . As hard as it is mentally the decrease in intensity and volume of training physically gets you at peak performance on the starting line. .... . Its natural to feel like you are not doing enough or feeling sluggish. . . To combat this continue to do your routine but adapt it to the lower intensity and swap out exercises or running discipline to allow your body to still move but without too much exertion. . . Your trainer should be able to adapt this decrease in training for you. Adapting exercise to the individual as everyone is different..... which makes this beautiful world go round. . . Such a wonderful group of people all training together, Female, Males, all ages! The group did the same program, I just adapted the exercises to each persons fitness and strength level. 15.01.2022 Such a beautiful Morning out in the Warrandyte state park! If you have a love for exploring, Running or walking come surround yourself with my Supportive, Encouraging Running/Hiking Group. Sundays at 7.30 am . . Today we did trails ensuring that we warmed up the ankles for the rocky terrain. There was so much variety, different animals came out to say hi, views of the Yarra and achieving lots of things within the 1.5 hours we were out there. It really doesnt matter what m...ovement you do to get fit its your mindset that pushes you forward. These awesome humans achieved a lot today and they should be super proud of themselves. It was so great to train outdoors and in daylight!! Small groups ( 4-8)with individualised attention to adapt the exercise to you.
