10.01.2022 Our Possums group spent a magnificent day outside in nature, preparing food for our campfire, assisting the building of the fire, and enjoying the warmth and ambience. Discussions about Wurundjeri culture, fire, growing our own food, and keeping safe around fire showed a great deal of thought from our wonderful 3-4 year olds! The potatoes, corn and bread were devoured, with talk of another campfire soon

02.01.2022 Today we had been talking about doing selfless acts. Doing kind things for others or teaching others something new. I began by talking about lots of different people coming to a new land, all of them new different things and all had a special ability or were good at something. But in the new land there were no houses,so the people had to use only what they could find to build shelter. They also had to be mindful to only take what they needed, because everyone needed shelter. After the children had finished I ask them to tell the group what ability their people had had that they would share with others.

02.01.2022 Current families: You will no doubt be aware that the Premier has announced we are back on stage 3 restrictions and lockdown from midnight Wednesday 8th July. We have no further information yet but will keep you all informed once we have a clearer picture and directives. Take care everyone, we are fortunate to live in a beautiful area with access to nature at our doorstep.
