22.01.2022 Upcoming Project I have been fortunate enough to be contacted by Louise Adams who is a local artist here in Temora Suggested spelling: remora, to help her design and create a hub for her and her artwork so you can find her all in the one place. Louise creates one off pieces of original art in the form of soapstone, serpentine sculptures, wire sculpture, drawings and paintings. ... I want to give you all a little update on what been happening of the past few months with the business as well as what I hope to achieve for the new year. It's been a little quiet around here of late but with due good reason. I have been a busy little beaver with complete my year with the NEIS program, brainstorming the direction I want my business to go and finishing Micro Business Operation Tafe Course. I am now in the proces...s of finishing the final rebranding of my site and social pages due to a change in direction of my business as well as creating a branding checklist for clients and fellow creative to download along with creating case studies for clients I have created brands for this year. This year I hope to be more involved in the local community by joining our local business group TBEG along with finish the workshops with the local council and BEC in hopes of forming new relationships and help brand their small business. .

16.01.2022 Sometimes as a person, we get those lightbulb moments that inspire our whole reasoning. You betcha, it finally happened. (about bloody time, lol) I have been asked this question time and time again, "What problem can I solve as a graphic designer?" but the only answer I arrived at was "I just love to create" and you guessed it, I was told that answer was never enough. I become frustrated with this simple question for months on end until I stumbled upon the same questio...n on a Facebook post. It was written in a way that eliminated everything from my job title to my list of services. When they were all gone, this sentence is all I had left. Its my first bit of writing that has inspired me just as much as the work I create, and I want my clients to feel the same way. So, clients, this is my message to you as a graphic designer, as a business owner and as a friend:

The CBRT is made up of accountants, financial planners, economic development and marketing professionals who will assist businesses to design business models to adapt to the ever-changing guidelines, and to bring messages to consumers through the TBEG website, Facebook page and the Find it in Temora Facebook group. 15.01.2022 Its time to put a face to a name. Hey Everyone, My name is Jodie, and I am the owner and face of Elusive Dream Design. I started my business adventures as a graphic designer last November (2018), where I am all about working towards clients needs to create a brand thats helps them develop a message and share it with the world. Since then I have developed a love for small business branding while working with local business and companies such as; Dusted Pest Management, Temo...ra Community Centre in partnership with Temora Shire Council and Temora Can assist and working on web design projects for local artist Louise Adams. My business has grown so much faster then I ever imagined with the help of my clients, government support with the NEIS program and my family. I have been able to live my dream and do what I love. My business goal, this year is to encourage myself to step out of my shell and network with those local and online. I want to thank those who have encouraged me to take that step and join Temora Business Business Enterprise Group (TBEG). I am looking forward to our next Beers and Business gathering and meeting you all. As for my personal mission is to find new ways to keep on believing in myself and dont be afraid to be me. Its something Ive always struggled with as I believe many others do too. My worst habit is I always compare myself to someone that is further along in their adventure than I am and to make it worst I spend even for time convincing myself that I will never measure up to them. I have loved working with each of my clients, and I look forward to continually finding new ones to share their brand and story with you all!
15.01.2022 Just finished taking Hannah Capps Photography master class for Creating A Niche Business It helped me understand that sometimes being everything to everyone isnt always the best approach and that honing in on a specific set of skills and service allows you to become an expert in that field and you will become known for that. So for those who are starting up in the world of business., believe me, its something worth the investment.
15.01.2022 REBRAND: Dusted Pest Management is a family-owned and operated business servicing homes in and around Temora. They help treat existing pest problems and protect against invasions from other pests such as spiders, termites and more. LOGO BREAKDOWN: When it comes to pest invading your home, the damage is not always visible from the outside. This metaphor inspired this logo. I wanted the font to be large and bold, so at first glance, it was just bold text... but the closer you look the more you see.
