20.01.2022 Can you believe there is only 3 weeks until Christmas!! We have extended our hours hugely for December.. BUT.... there are only a couple of appointments left in December!! We have a great waiting list we are utilising, so if you feel you can’t get in please get added to the list so we can phone you as soon as someone cancels - we are getting changes on a daily basis so hope is not lost for your hair! Please be mindful if you feel you need to cancel or change your December booking we may not be able to reschedule it until mid January though due to how heavily booked we are but that wait list is a great tool!! 15.01.2022 Elvarl is open for business as usual but in light of the new confirmed local covid case, we are politely asking anyone who has association with Chatswood Hills State School please refrain from coming to the salon until we know more.. if you have an appointment and have affiliation with the school please call and reschedule! 14.01.2022 2020 has been a wild ride! The world changed, we had some hiccups with things like covid changing the world as we knew it, we added to the family with babies and new staff, we navigated working through a pandemic, we put heart and soul into Elvarl, and we laughed a lot along the way! This year our business has changed - for the better! We have every single one of our clients that visit us and keep us going to thank for that, and personally I have my beautiful Elvarl girls to ...thank as well. This year was a testing one but we got back up, dusted ourselves off and we kept each other going. The girls have been phenomenal this year, adapting to everything that covid changed, and no one once complained! I am truly blessed to have such supportive and hard working staff and I am so grateful for these girls everyday We have finished our salon duties for 2020, and we are looking forward to seeing what beauty 2021 will bring us after this year of growth! 02.01.2022 It’s July already!! it’s been a crazy few months at Elvarl... riding the waves of covid-19 affecting everything has been tiring.. but no matter what, we always get back up and do what’s right! And now Meg only has a few weeks left of work before she’s off on leave... the beautiful Jess has been made Manager of Elvarl so everyone can be rest assured the salon is going to be exactly the same while Meg is off! Meg is also reducing in-salon hours as of this week, the exhaustion... is getting a bit much and it’s been a hard few months with covid issues arising for the salon but she’s still here until the end of August - just part time! So as you can imagine, her appointments are really limited... so if you want to see her before she’s on maternity leave, please book now!! And be assured that every single client history is recorded VERY thoroughly so while she’s gone, you’re in good hands with the other girls! 01.01.2022 Hanging by the TV this morning to see the next steps of businesses and people around brisbane, and I’m relieved that the lockdown is finished tonight...and crossing fingers toes and everything that Brisbane doesn’t have a spike in numbers!! We are back on the floor tomorrow with a full team, which is where my relief comes from because a lot of people are depending on us for their hair this week! So don’t worry, we will be there!! Obviously there is the announcement that we... all need to wear masks, so we ask that you please bring a mask with you and preferably a disposable one so your hair colour doesn’t ruin a cotton one! We have such a massive salon that the one person per 4m2 rule is fine for us especially with the current chair positions, and we will continue to do our usual pedantic cleaning all day! We will also have the outdoor area in use for you to sit while your colour is processing to enjoy some fresh air... and we also have a new QR code for all of our guests to sign in upon arrival for contact tracing! So please be assured you’re safe in visiting us at Elvarl, and that we will be here to make your hair beautiful as normal we just won’t be able to chat as much with that mask on but your hair can still look smashing!
