11.01.2022 We had the most beautiful Sun Circle in Feb with an almost sold out event, so thank you to all of the wonderful women that came and made it so special! For those of you that came and those of you that wanted to but couldn't quite make it, here is the link for the upcoming circle on the 22nd March. Curious what we got up to last month? Here is a sneak peek into the core of what we covered in the circle... Our focus was on the earth element and the power of working with the spleen meridian. In Tantric healing we use the meridians to support us in coming back onto balance. The spleen Meridian is associated to our desire, fertility, menstrual cycles, blood support, groundedness, transformation, abundance, femininity, nourishment & nutrition. Did you know that women are often deficient in spleen energy simply by the fact that we menstruate? Being deficient in spleen energy can create a LACK OF DESIRE, feeling ungrounded, issues with menstruation, worry, rumination, poor digestion and lack of the internal source of self-nourishment. By supporting our spleen meridian, we are nourishing our desire, ability to activate sexual energy, to feel pleasure in our bodies, to feel grounded, safe, at home in this world as well as a sense of being connected and complete in ourselves. Well because I believe that as women we naturally carry moon-like, feminine qualities of receptivity, openness and nurturing, along with healing, renewal, interconnectedness, intuition and wisdom... When we come together in circle we will, of course, be working with these energies so that we can learn to embody our natural feminine essence. However, there is duality in all things. It is clear that a balance exists in nature, and it’s beautiful Take dark and light or male and female for example. The Sun carries masculine creation energy of action, initiation, growth, renewal and power We gather around the sun to call in the complimentary energetic qualities that will support us to actualise our intentions. 05.01.2022 If we only treat what we are able to see, then we would never eliminate the weeds from our garden, for the roots would continue to throw up more weeds to the surface. So it is with negative emotions rooted in our deeper or sub-conscious mind. While the conscious mind is logical, the subconscious mind is the emotional level of our existence. Often when we experience pain or emotion, we fear being in this space. Commonly we suppress, bypass or only partly process our negative f...eelings. The rest of it is pushed deep down into the subconscious, later influencing the way we respond to life and relationships. So just as we need to weed from the roots on a regular basis to maintain a healthy and harmonious garden, we too need to clear out and make space for our forgotten, denied or all too scary emotions that sit in our subconscious. This does not have to be an intense, cathartic experience but could be a gentle unwinding, a deep acknowledgment, a shift in energy and perspective or a supported emotional release. Joining my Monthly Sacred Sun Circle will support you to express, release and feel at home in your feelings. Having a safe space and a supportive community of women to encourage you to share your feelings on a regular basis, helps to build a healthy habit of allowing current feelings to move through you. A great way to think about this is that: - Feelings are current, in the moment responses to our environment. - Emotions, on the other hand, are unprocessed, suppressed feelings. Feelings are simply energy in motion, so give yourself permission to express your feelings as they arise to prevent them from turning into emotions (that live in our subconscious) that trigger and shape our behaviours. Further support is available In my combined coaching and therapy sessions, I offer bodywork that supports you to access the subconscious mind. From here we can work to release clogged up emotion, to unveil a distorted reality, renew your sense of self, heal from past experiences and rewire your mind-body connection.
