19.01.2022 Balustrades are now activated at nighttime with lighting now switched on! Check out new works after dark along Kedron Brook Road, Wilston. Working closely with the Kedron Brook business group and project artist Elysha Rei the Wilston Village gateway balustrades were delivered by Brisbane City Council as part of the Wilston Village Precinct Grant Project and the Elysha Rei’s artwork series Journey Ever Onward (2020) The Journey Ever Onward (2020) explores patterns based on sy...mmetry and harmony found in both nature and the architectural details from the local area. This series of work includes creative balustrade designs, ‘tessellated’ ground plane elements for exploration and projected motif patterns for evening enhancement. The combination of historical style and native flora creates artwork that is uniquely Wilston Village. See more

15.01.2022 'Ode to Roost, 2014, graphite on paper Six years ago today I installed my first solo exhibition at Use Space in Bangkok, Thailand. It was an amazing moment exhibiting in the country I had spent such formative years in my childhood, and share a series of portraits I had created whilst on an artist residency in rural Thailand - Sam Rit Residency. Hoping to travel back there as soon as it is safe to do so

11.01.2022 Lockdown has allowed me a chance to update my website for the year. As well as new artist statements and projects online, I've created a 'Beautiful Rejects' page of works. With the nature of tendered commission works, ideas are not always successful. 04.01.2022 Starting the year off with a new client commission in Toowoomba. Wonderful to spend the morning chatting over a cup of tea and taking in the scenery which will inform the design
