23.01.2022 Some pictures of last weekend's zoom class - hosted by Yarraville Community Centre and taught by me. We made a quick mix shortbread and also a more traditional recipe handed down from a friend's grandmother.
20.01.2022 Doing one of my favourite things - sharing afternoon tea with neighbours. And being just a little bit fancy. All set up and just waiting for the scones to come out of the oven. Yum!
09.01.2022 And why am I sharing this? Not only was I roadie and caterer, the creator is my son (Patrick Slee , aka W.D. Stevens) It was a great effort by all involved and we are proud of the result and of Patrick. He is looking for feedback as this is what is called a 'proof of concept' to try and get this produced as a whole series and we are trying to get it out to as many people as possible. 04.01.2022 Despite the mess from our water leaks and all the extra stuff that has come out of No. 2 sons bedroom cleanup we have a spare bookshelf that won't fit back in - and I am putting it to good use. Guess what my favourite things are?

04.01.2022 Didn't grow up on the wood stove generation - but more excited when Annabel used a cup and saucer from the dinnerset exactly the same as my Mum's and which I now use frequently. In Mum's day it was only used at Christmas - although it was loaned out for Church functions. There must have been a few of these around as they were marked on the base with nail polish to identify them.
