Elegant and sophisticated our candles are the perfect finishing touch to anyone's home - not only for their glorious scent but also for the cosy candlelight they throw. For the next few Wednesdays, we are going to give you our top candle care tips so you can get the most from your candles.... Today's candle care tip is all about the first burn! When you burn your candle for the first time, you MUST ensure you burn the candle until the wax melts across the entire surface up to the sides of the vessel. This will prevent tunneling and create an even burn for the candles life. This may take a few hours, but we guarantee it will make your candle last longer!

16.01.2022 Candle Care Tip # 4 Have you noticed that all of our candles come with a lid? Blowing the candle out will cause the candle to smoke and you could splatter hot wax on yourself! (Ouch!) Extinguishing your candle by placing the lid back on the candle, will starve it of oxygen and help you avoid any splattering of hot wax. It will also prolong the life of your candle! 10.01.2022 With so many people giving and receiving our beautiful candles for Christmas, I thought we should do another post on candle care. So for the next few Wednesday, I am going to post some candle care tips. These tips will help you get the most burn time from our beautiful candles! Today's tip - the first burn of your candle is by far the most important burn! We always say, the first burn is a serious commitment. You need to allow the wax to burn so that it melts across the entire surface to the edges and pools to the edges of the container. This will effectively assist in preventing tunneling and set your candles 'burn memory'. This will help promote an even burn for the duration of the candle's life.
