01.01.2022 There is a fantastic Lean In Session tomorrow! Working with Diverstiy 6pm Wednesday 23rd September... https://www.architecture.com.au/eve/working-with-diversity/ Diverse thinking encourages viewing issues through different lenses. Ensuring a diverse workplace is an important start but to create successful organisations, workplace culture and design solutions, celebrating diverse thinking is critical. What work do we need to do individually to ensure that we can collaborate with others who have different viewpoints and perspectives to our own? This panel discussion will cover how to work in teams, manage conflict and different points of view, and generate designs for diverse groups of people. Joining the panel are representatives from Diversity Council of Australia, Fiona Austin-Webber and Zach Ghirardello. Fiona & Zach help to support a wide range of corporate and not-for-profit sector member organisations as they navigate implementing workplace Diversity & Inclusion. Also joining the discussion is Dr Remi Ayoko, Associate Professor of Management at the University of Queensland Business School. Remi's principal research interests include conflict management, emotions, leadership, diversity, team work and employee physical work environment and territoriality. See more
