23.01.2022 LOW MAINTENANCE BLONDES During these difficult times were really listening to all our guests and understand low maintenance colours are going to be our go-to over the next few months. On these gorgeous guests, we changed up our usual high concentration of bright blonde foils to a few scattered foils with a root stretch toner to blend with their regrowth. This will make it possible to stretch out their appointments to 10-12 weeks and we can change back to normal foils at anytime. As most of you know, we take our education very seriously and with our busy schedule we felt the need to appoint somebody to train our apprentices. This is a whole new concept and not something we've seen before in other salons so we feel very proud to have a talented hairdresser like sharon taking the reins with training our apprentices! We apologise for being quiet on social media lately... as we're all aware of the heartbreaking bushfire crisis consuming our country, we've taken this time to figure out ways we can help! We've been inspired by the generosity from all the wonderful people and businesses doing their bit to raise funds and supplies for those in need. Please take the time to read thus post and watch our insta story on ways you can help us with our fundraising. There will be plenty of time in the near future to post about our hair transformations and the exciting things we have planned for 2020 but for now we'll be using our business page to do our part to help those in need... This week we'll be donating 100% of our retail profits to the @redcrossau Bushfire appeal. We still have plenty of packs left over from Christmas so if you need to stock up on anything, now's the time as its going to a great cause! We will also be donating 100% of the proceeds from any hair styling appointment booked in with us this Saturday! 21.01.2022 PLEASE READ! Well here we go again... Melbourne will return to stage 3 lockdown from midnight Wednesday 8th July for 6 weeks. We wanted to take this time to let everybody know we have not at any stage eased off on our hygiene and physical distancing since the last lock down. Hairdressers were never made to close the first time around so we will remain open and all your appointments are still booked in with us. ... None of our guests were stopped or fined for visiting us during the first lock down nor will you this time. Being allowed to stay open deems us an essential service so youre most certainly able to leave your home for a hair appointment. This being said, we completely understand and respect that people will need to cancel during these challenging times. We certainly dont want anybody to feel bad for cancelling. If you need to cancel, please give us as much notice as possible. This means we can accommodate other guests so giving us notice would be very much appreciated We will welcome you back with open arms when this is all over and look forward to pampering you again. 19.01.2022 Wed like to say a big thank you for all the support we received yesterday from our guests, hairdresser friends and followers. Were so confused and baffled by the decision made this morning to lift the 30minute ban and like so many other salons we have decided to remain closed. The health and safety of our community is our top priority and we feel we cannot perform our jobs adhering to the strict social distancing rules. 15.01.2022 And that's a wrap for 6 weeks! Wow what a crazy couple of days!! We want to thank all of our beautiful clients for the love and support we've received during this pandemic. We're sad we have to wait 6 weeks to see you all again but it doesn't mean we'll stop being creative! We have some plans to keep you all educated and inspired during this 'down time' so stay tuned!... We will be contacting everyone who has an appointments booked during our close down period. We'll be contacting bookings 1 week at a time in order of appointment. We cant wait to start working with some creative new cutting and colouring techniques in the salon... a huge thank you to Alfaparf Milano Australia for this opportunity, it was an honor to be one of 10 salons from Australia to attend!

10.01.2022 REBOOKING AFTER THE 26th + COLOUR MAINTENANCE Firstly, a big thank you to everyone who sent us the most beautiful messages of support over the last 24 hours. We cant wait to see you when this is all over but wanted to rake this time to let you know how appointments are going to work. When we first went into stage 4 restrictions, we rescheduled everyone who had an appointment booked in date order. We are currently fully booked our first 4 weeks back so to keep things fair,... all your appointments that were booked from next week onwards will be kept on the same days and times, in the same week order from reopening only now we will reopen on the 26th. This means bookings starting the week: 14th sept 26th oct 21st sept 2nd nov 28th sept 9th nov 5th oct 16th nov And so forth. I will be getting in touch via text message over the next few days, please be patient as theres a lot to get through and Im only one person so Im doing the best I can to reply as quickly as possible. also keeping in mind we will still have limitations when we return on the amount of people allowed in the salon so even with extended hours we have limited appointments. COLOUR MAINTENANCE We have some new colour maintenance options available as a one off to get you through the next 7weeks. As per our previous posts, please avoid box dyes as your first appointment back will be a colour correction and it may take a few appointments to get your regular colour back on track. 07.01.2022 Closing Wednesday 25th March, 9pm We have made the decision as a team this morning that we will close our doors tonight given the current health crisis. This was not a decision we took lightly but we feel it's our duty of care to keep our community safe as well as ourselves and our loved ones. Our thoughts are with everyone else in the hair and beauty industry who made the same hard decisions after the announcement came last night we were restricted to 30minute visits fro...m each client. We're also thinking of all those who had to close their doors early this week. We remain optimistic we'll reopen soon so for now, all appointments booked after April 14th will remain unless told otherwise, all appointments before this date will unfortunately be cancelled. We'll be updating any info as we receive it but in the mean time we'll keep everyone entertained with some tutorial videos and we'll also be offering products to be purchased online. The salon will be open 4pm-6pm tomorrow for those who'd like to stock up on hair and make-up products. In these hard times we all need to stay positive and stick together. If the government announces we can reopen on the 19th we'll be in touch with you all individually to bring your appointments forward by 1 week.... 05.01.2022 PLEASE READ!! We kindly ask anyone showing cold/flu symptoms to please reschedule their appointments. This also applies to anybody who has travelled overseas in the last 14 days. We will do our absolute best to get you back in but please understand we are doing this to ensure the health and safety of our guests, staff and their families. We as a team will also be following the same guidelines if we're unwell so we may have to reschedule appointments if we're short staffed. ... We assure you all we have always kept our salon clean and sanitised to a high standard but we have taken extra measures during this current health crisis to make everyone feel comfortable and safe during their visit with us. All our dishes are cleaned in our dishwasher (as usual), towels and wraps are never reused, we have hand sanitiser on offer and we will be using disposable wipes to sanitise each station after use. 04.01.2022 WE'RE BACK! We've taken the time these last 2 weeks to work on a plan moving forward to keep our salon, guests and team safe. We have made some changes to ensure we can manage our schedule whilst keeping our promise of maintaining a clean salon. These changes include: only 4 clients in at any given time cleaning and disinfecting each work station after use... cleaning and disinfecting our tools after each use please come alone to your appointment and phone or text ahead to make a booking. These changes all take a little extra time to make sure they're done properly so please be patient with us. We've always kept our salon clean to a high standard but we're going the extra mile to ensure each guest in our salon has a happy and comfortable experience. We will be altering our hours temporarily on a week by week basis so please keep an eye our on our newsfeed for weekly updates. We kindly ask if you're unwell or have travelled in the past 14 days to reschedule. We will also be staying home if we don't feel well.
