03.01.2022 Working with CAN messages is tricky - A lot of people assume every vehicle uses the same type of messages and can easily be decoded, which can be true for basic messages like RPM, speed, etc. The reality is every manufacturer does CAN messaging differently. It takes time to sit down and trawl through a myriad of data to find what you're looking for. Fortunately, we have a number of tools developed in-house that make the job much easier.

01.01.2022 Virtually all modern vehicles utilize CAN bus (Controller Area Network) - it allows the dozens of computers within a car to talk to each other and exchange information at high speed. The CAN data flowing around a vehicle is difficult to make sense of (just look at the photo!), but when understood is an immensely powerful tool. Embedex specializes in working with CAN equipped vehicles; using the functionality and sensors already built in to a vehicle do some really clever things.
