16.01.2022 Want to get the most from your Loving Tan? Check out these hot tips. TIP 1 - All over colour - ensure that your entire body is covered evenly with the initial bronzers. This ensures the active ingredients are spread evenly over your body to allow a beautiful golden tan to develop. TIP 2 - Remember to lift up your arms in front of the mirror - always remember to check your arms and other body parts in front of the mirror. It is easy to miss little spots on the bottoms ...and underneath of your arms. TIP 3 - Speed Up Drying Time - Stand under a fan or air-conditioner to speed up drying time TIP 4 - Wear loose fitting dark clothing For a more natural even application avoid any tight fitting clothing for the duration of the development time. TIP 5 - The longer you leave the solution on, the darker the tan - the longer the active ingredients in the tan are able to be left on the skin, the darker the skin will become. TIP 6 - Don't rinse off with soap - gently rinse off excess topical bronzers/colour in the shower with your hands to ensure that the active tanning ingredient is distributed evenly and not scrubbed off. My answer is, YES you definitely need a separate product for around the eyes and here are my reasons: 1. The eye area is one of the most delicate areas of skin found on the body. The supporting tissue around the eye area is not as dense when compared to the rest of the face, and therefore, the eye area can show signs of ageing faster when compared ...to the rest of the face. Eye creams are usually have been designed to address the specific needs of this sensitive and delicate part of the skin. 2. Some of the ingredients which can be safely used in facial serums, shouldn't be used in the products designed for around the eyes. The reason is that when it comes to eye products, the ingredients need to be considered safe if accidentally slip into your eyes. 3. The percentage of the active ingredients to be used around the eyes are very different (much less) from your facial serums. This can easily end up with too much retinol, vitamin C, AHAs or other actives around the eyes and cause skin irritation in that area. 4. Reputable brands would carry extra and specific safety tests for ingredients and products for around the eyes. The thinner and more sensitive skin means that extra care needs to be considered when designing the products. 5. Many ingredients, especially preservatives, can sting the eyes and therefore, chemists would make sure to use specific preservatives which are mild and non-stinging for the eyes in the eye products. #repost #embellaco
